Freelance SEO in BD: what 50,000 BDT actually buys you per month
Most BD business owners assume freelance SEO is either dirt cheap (10-15k/month, which is link spam in a spreadsheet) or agency-priced (1.5-3 lakh/month with junior account managers). The honest middle is around 50,000 BDT/month and up, and here is what that actually pays for when one senior freelancer owns the work. A proper keyword map for your business and city, prioritised by buyer intent and difficulty. On-page rewrites for your highest-opportunity pages, title tags, H1s, meta descriptions, internal linking and schema.
Technical fixes from a real crawl, not a generic checklist, redirects, broken links, indexable thin pages, Core Web Vitals issues, mobile usability errors. Two to four properly briefed long-form content pieces per month, written for BD buyers, not for word count. Monthly Search Console review, query mining, cannibalisation fixes and a written next-month plan you can read in five minutes.
What is not included at 50,000 BDT/month is paid link buying budget, paid PR placement fees, large content production volumes (ten plus articles), or running your Google Ads alongside. Those are add-ons quoted separately. Most of my SEO clients in Bangladesh start at this tier for the first three to six months, then either step up to a content-heavy retainer once on-page is dialled in, or stay here because the page-one rankings keep compounding.
Payment is straightforward: 50% advance to start, 50% at the end of each month after the report. No retainer lock-in beyond the current month, and no "setup fee" tricks. If the work is good you stay, if it is not, you walk. That is how a freelancer earns a long contract in BD.
