Pricing without the guesswork
Why Dhanmondi ecommerce quotes vary so much, and what fair pricing actually looks like
Here is the real problem with ecommerce website development price in Dhanmondi. A boutique owner on Road 27 once sent me four quotes for the same Shopify-style store. They were 18,000, 45,000, 1,80,000 and 3,75,000 BDT. None of them listed what was included.
Two were template installs with no payment gateway. One quoted hosting separately. One was a build from scratch with custom inventory logic the seller did not need. The number on the invoice rarely matches the work being done.
I am RH Fardin, a solo website designer and developer. I have about five years of experience shipping ecommerce stores for Dhaka brands. I do the strategy call, the wireframes, the design and the code. I also handle the bKash and Nagad setup, the courier API link and the launch.
No junior gets swapped in mid-project. No agency overhead inflates your invoice, and no surprise hosting bill lands three months in. When you ask koto taka, I give you one fixed number tied to a clear list of deliverables.
Four things drive the price of a Dhanmondi ecommerce site. How many products do you sell? Do you need real-time stock tracking? Which payment methods do you accept? How custom does your checkout need to be? A 30-product cosmetics shop with bKash and COD is a very different build from a 500-SKU fashion store. That one needs size variants, a courier API and abandoned-cart recovery.
I will not quote you 50,000 BDT for the second build. I will not bill you 3,00,000 BDT for the first. Matching scope to price is what makes this fair.
I work mostly with Dhanmondi sellers who have outgrown a Facebook page or a basic WordPress site. The brief is almost always the same. Build something that loads fast on a Banglalink connection and takes bKash and Nagad without bouncing. Sync it with Steadfast or Pathao courier. Make sure no developer is needed every time a price changes. That is the build I price below.
