Ecommerce Website Design Expert in Dhaka

An ecommerce website design expert in Dhaka who designs every screen himself, and tests every checkout on a real Banglalink connection before it ships.

Most Dhaka stores look fine on a Macbook and fall apart on a 7,000 BDT Xiaomi over 4G. I design ecommerce sites the other way around — product card first, mobile checkout first, bKash flow first. Then I make the desktop view follow. From 50,000 BDT, 50% advance, the other 50% on launch.

The expert behind the screens

Why "expert" actually means something here

Dhaka has no shortage of people who will sell you an "ecommerce website." What it has very few of is people who have shipped enough stores to know that the cart abandonment problem in Mirpur is not the same as the one in Gulshan, that a product page that loads in 1.4 seconds on Wi-Fi can take 11 seconds on a 4G connection in Mohammadpur, and that a customer who has typed her bKash PIN once and seen a blank screen will almost never type it again. That gap is what I fill.

I am RH Fardin. For roughly five years I have designed ecommerce websites for Dhaka-based fashion brands, electronics resellers, baby-product shops, food-and-grocery startups and a couple of niche B2B catalogs. Every store you would see in my portfolio I personally wireframed, designed in Figma, built the front end of, set up the cart and checkout for, and walked the owner through on launch day. There is no "senior designer" who shows up at the pitch and disappears. The senior designer is the only designer.

Being a one-person operation is the whole point of hiring an expert. You get one phone number, one Trello board, one person who remembers in week six why you decided in week two not to put the size guide as a popup. Decisions are made in the same head that designed the homepage, so the product filter on page 14 actually matches the visual logic of the hero on page 1. Agencies in Dhaka often hand a project from a sales lead to a junior designer to a junior developer to a project manager — and the buyer ends up arbitrating between four versions of the truth.

I am direct about what I am not. I am not a 30-person studio, I do not run a call center, and I do not take on more than a small number of ecommerce builds a quarter — because each one needs my eyes on every detail. If you want a senior operator who treats your store like his own and will tell you honestly when a feature is going to cost you more than it earns, this is the right page. If you want the cheapest quote in Dhaka, it is not.

What's included

What you actually get from a senior ecommerce designer

Six things that separate an expert build from a template-and-pray store. Each one is something I have fixed for real Dhaka owners who came to me after a cheaper attempt.

01

Mobile-First, For Real

Designed and tested on a mid-range Android over a real Robi/GP connection before desktop is even considered. Tap targets, thumb zones and bKash modal sizing all checked on actual phones, not Chrome dev tools.

02

bKash & Nagad Done Right

Both gateways wired in with retry logic, clear error messages in Bangla-friendly English, and a fallback to manual reference number when the gateway times out. No more orders lost to a frozen payment screen.

03

Product Pages That Sell

Image-first layout with size guide, delivery time to your specific area (Dhaka inside vs outside), COD badge, and reviews above the fold. The decisions Dhaka buyers actually need before tapping Add to Cart.

04

Cash-On-Delivery Built In

COD checkout designed to reduce fake orders — phone OTP verification, Steadfast/Pathao Courier integration, and an admin view that flags repeat-cancelers. Because 70%+ of your orders are still COD.

05

Owner-Operable Admin

I hand you a dashboard you can actually use. Add products, change prices, mark orders shipped, export to Excel — without calling me. A 15-minute screen recording in plain language, yours forever.

06

Loads Fast On 4G

Compressed images, lazy-loaded product grids, no bloated plugins. Targets sub-3-second load on a Dhaka 4G connection so customers in New Market and Bashundhara see the same speed as ones in Banani.

In focus

What an "expert" actually changes about your Dhaka store

When a Dhaka brand brings me a store that a cheaper provider already built, the symptoms are almost always the same: traffic is fine, ad spend is fine, the product is fine — but the conversion rate is sitting at 0.4% when it should be at 2%. The post-mortem is rarely one big bug. It is twenty small misjudgments that a junior could not have known to avoid. The product image is 1.8 MB instead of 180 KB. The bKash button is below the fold on a 6-inch screen.

The COD checkbox is unchecked by default in a market where 70% of buyers want COD. The size chart opens in a new tab and the customer never comes back. The shipping cost only appears after the user has typed her phone number. Each one shaves a fraction of a percent off conversions; together they cut your revenue in half.

An ecommerce design expert in Dhaka earns the title by having already made and corrected every one of those mistakes. When I sit down to design your product page, I am not guessing whether the size guide should be a drawer or a modal — I have shipped both, watched the analytics, and know which one keeps the buyer on the page in our market. When I wire your bKash flow, I already know which error message wording makes the customer retry instead of abandon.

That hard-won judgement is what you pay 50,000+ BDT for instead of 8,000 BDT for a template, and it is what shows up in your monthly revenue six months later. The price difference pays for itself inside the first month if your ad budget is anything above token.

Frequently asked

Straight answers before we build.

Real questions Dhaka store owners have asked me in the last few months, answered straight.

Koto taka? What does an expert-designed ecommerce store actually cost in Dhaka?

My ecommerce design work starts at 50,000 BDT for a clean single-category store with up to ~50 products, bKash/Nagad, COD and a courier integration. Most Dhaka brands land in the 90,000 BDT tier (multi-category, filters, customer accounts, a polished admin) or the 1,50,000 BDT tier (subscriptions, loyalty, advanced reports, custom design system). Truly custom builds — marketplaces, B2B portals, multi-vendor — start from 3,00,000 BDT. Payment is always 50% advance, 50% on launch.

Why should I hire one expert instead of a Dhaka agency with 20 people?

Because on a project below 5,00,000 BDT, the agency's 20 people are not all working on your store. A senior gives a pitch, a junior does the design, another junior writes the code, a project manager schedules calls. You pay for the overhead and lose the consistency. Hiring one senior who does the whole build means every screen is made by the same brain that pitched you the strategy. For most ecommerce projects in Dhaka, that is a better fit than agency layers.

Do you only design, or do you also build and launch the store?

I do both. "Designer" in my case means I take you from a Figma wireframe through a clickable design, then build the front end myself, hook up the back end (usually WooCommerce or a custom stack depending on your needs), integrate bKash/Nagad and a courier, load your products, and walk you through go-live. One person, start to finish. That is the whole reason "expert" is in the title — it means accountable for the entire outcome, not just the visual file.

I already have a Daraz-style store from another developer. Can you redesign it?

Yes, and a lot of my work is exactly that — Dhaka store owners who paid 15,000–30,000 BDT for an initial build, started running Facebook ads, and realized the store is leaking money at checkout. I audit the current site, identify the highest-impact fixes (usually the product page, the checkout, and the mobile speed), and either redesign the existing store or rebuild it on a cleaner stack. Redesign work usually starts at 50,000 BDT depending on how much of the existing code is salvageable.

Will my Dhaka customers be able to pay with bKash, Nagad and cash on delivery?

Yes — and properly, not just as a logo on the checkout page. I integrate bKash and Nagad through their official gateways (or via SSLCommerz / ShurjoPay if you prefer one consolidated dashboard), and I build the COD flow with phone OTP verification to cut down on fake orders. Courier integration is usually Steadfast or Pathao Courier for inside-Dhaka and Sundarban / RedX for outside. All of this is included from the 50,000 BDT tier.

How long until my store is live, and what do you need from me?

A 50,000 BDT store typically takes 3–4 weeks from advance to launch; a 90,000 BDT build is closer to 5–6 weeks. The variable is almost always content — product photos, descriptions, your courier and bKash merchant accounts. I send you a short checklist on day one (logo, brand colors if you have them, a product CSV or spreadsheet, your bKash merchant info, your courier merchant ID, your domain and hosting access) and I design around whatever is ready while we collect the rest. Nothing goes live until you have signed off on the design — that is the design-approval guarantee.
