Ecommerce Website Design Company in Bangladesh

An ecommerce website design company in Bangladesh shaped around how your customer actually checks out

I design and ship stores that handle bKash, Nagad, card and cash-on-delivery without the half-broken checkout most BD shops live with. One person from kickoff to launch, starting at 50,000 BDT, 50 percent advance.

About 5 years building ecommerce sites for Bangladeshi brands, no junior handoffs, no design surprises after approval.

About this company

A one-person ecommerce shop, not a sales funnel pretending to be an agency

Most Bangladeshi store owners I talk to have already paid one ecommerce company to build them something. The site loads slow on a 3G connection in Mirpur, the bKash payment shows success on the gateway but never marks the order paid, and the cash-on-delivery form takes seven fields before a buyer can press order. That is the brief I keep getting. Fix the leaks, ship something the courier and the customer can both use, stop hiding behind a portfolio of templates.

I am RH Fardin and I run this as a single-operator practice from Bangladesh. When you hire me as your ecommerce website design company, the same person who pitches you also writes the CSS for the product card, configures the SSLCommerz keys, sets up the bKash merchant integration and tests the COD order placement on a real Walton phone. There is no project manager, no offshore contractor, and no creative director who disappears after the first call.

My experience is roughly five years, mostly with BD retail brands, a few diaspora sellers exporting to UK and Australia, and a handful of B2B catalogues. I have made the mistakes worth learning from: choosing the wrong platform for a 12-SKU shop, underestimating courier integration time, building a checkout that ignored how buyers in Chattogram type their addresses. The current process exists because of those bruises.

Pricing is fixed: 50,000 BDT for a starter ecommerce build, 90,000 BDT for the standard tier most BD stores actually need, 1,50,000 BDT for stores that want better product photography integration and proper category architecture, and from 3,00,000 BDT for custom builds with multiple payment gateways, multi-vendor logic or ERP sync. Fifty percent advance, fifty percent on launch, design-approval guarantee in writing.

What's included

What you get when you hire a serious BD ecommerce designer

Six concrete things baked into every store I design in Bangladesh, not optional add-ons or upsells.

01

bKash and Nagad first

Payment gateway integration is treated as the spine of the build, not a plugin tacked on at the end. I configure bKash, Nagad and SSLCommerz with proper webhook handling so orders actually mark as paid.

02

COD that works

Cash-on-delivery checkout under five fields, with division-thana-area address logic that matches how Pathao, Steadfast and RedX want it. Fewer form abandonments at the address step.

03

Mobile-first build

Designed and tested on a 720p Android first, the way 80 percent of your buyers will see it. Desktop is a derivative, not the primary canvas, because the BD shopping reality demands it.

04

Bangla and English ready

Typography, line-height and form labels chosen to handle both scripts cleanly. Product names in Bangla do not break your card layout the way most BD templates manage to do.

05

Owner-editable catalogue

You can add a product, change a price, run a discount or pause an item from your phone without calling me. I record a Bangla walkthrough so the back office is genuinely yours.

06

One operator, one Slack thread

You talk to me, the same person who is writing the code and designing the screens. No briefing chain, no lost-in-translation revisions, no junior taking the first pass.

In focus

Why most ecommerce companies in Bangladesh keep shipping broken checkouts

The standard playbook in Dhaka and Chattogram is to install WooCommerce or a Shopify theme, drop in a generic SSLCommerz plugin, and call it an ecommerce build. It looks fine on the demo. It falls apart the first week of real orders. The bKash callback URL is misconfigured so half of paid orders show as pending. The shipping zones are set to one flat rate even though Sylhet and Dinajpur cost the courier twice as much. The order confirmation email never arrives because the SMTP was never connected. The owner finds out from a customer comment, not from the company that built it.

I design around those failure modes specifically. Before launch we run a real test order with a real bKash transaction, a real Nagad transaction, a real cash-on-delivery checkout, and a real refund. We watch what the courier API returns. We confirm the SMS gateway fires. We click the order from the admin email and make sure the link still works two days later. None of that is unusual. It is just what an ecommerce website design company in Bangladesh should be doing before they take the second payment from you, and most do not.

Frequently asked

Straight answers before we build.

Six questions BD store owners actually ask me before they sign.

Ecommerce website design koto taka in Bangladesh?

Floor is 50,000 BDT for a starter store, 90,000 BDT for the standard tier most Bangladeshi retailers settle on, 1,50,000 BDT for richer catalogues with proper photography integration, and from 3,00,000 BDT for custom multi-gateway or multi-vendor builds. Payment is 50 percent advance, 50 percent on launch. No hidden gateway setup or theme fees.

Do you set up bKash, Nagad and SSLCommerz, or do I have to bring my own developer for that?

I set them up. That includes the merchant account integration, webhook configuration, success and failure URL handling, and a live test transaction before launch. If your bKash merchant account is not approved yet I will tell you what documents to send and follow up with their team.

Which platform do you use, WooCommerce or Shopify, and which one is right for my store?

Honest answer depends on SKU count, monthly orders and how much editing you want to do yourself. For most BD stores under a few thousand orders a month with COD-heavy mix I lean WooCommerce because it is cheaper to run in taka and easier to customise checkout. For diaspora brands selling abroad with card-only payments and zero-touch admin needs, Shopify is often better. I will tell you which one and why on the first call.

Can the site handle Pathao, Steadfast or RedX courier booking automatically?

Yes for Pathao and Steadfast through their available APIs, and RedX through their merchant panel sync. Order details push through and tracking IDs come back into the admin. If you use a courier without an API I configure a clean order export so your packing team can upload bookings in bulk.

How long does an ecommerce site take to launch in Bangladesh?

Starter at 50,000 BDT usually goes live in two to three weeks. Standard 90,000 BDT tier takes three to four weeks. The 1,50,000 BDT tier with category architecture and product shoot integration runs four to six weeks. Custom builds get a written timeline before the advance. Delays almost always come from product photos and copy, not code, so the faster you send those the faster we ship.

What happens after launch, do you charge separately for maintenance and small changes?

Thirty days of post-launch fixes are included free, covering bugs, broken integrations or anything that does not behave as agreed. After that, small changes (adding a banner, swapping a payment method, fixing a layout glitch) are billed at a transparent hourly rate, or you can take a monthly care retainer for a flat fee. No surprise invoices for things that should have worked on day one.
