Digital Marketing Price in Bangladesh

Most digital marketing quotes in Bangladesh hide the real number until the contract is in front of you. I do the opposite. Tell me what you sell, where you sell it, and where your buyers are — I will tell you within one call what a real monthly retainer for your case looks like, why it costs that, and what it will and will not do in the first 90 days.

Plain pricing, one senior operator running everything (strategy, ads, SEO, content, reporting), and a 50% advance / 50% on launch milestone setup so you never pay a year upfront.

Retainers start at 50,000 BDT. No retainer hidden behind a 30-minute discovery call. No 12-month lock-in. Bangladesh-based. Around 5 years running this exact playbook.

What digital marketing actually costs in Bangladesh

The real price is the one you can defend to your finance person

Every week somebody messages me on WhatsApp and asks, simply, "digital marketing er price koto?" — and the honest answer is that nobody who quotes you a number in the first 60 seconds is being honest. A bakery in Mirpur selling cakes at 800 taka does not need the same retainer as a real-estate developer in Gulshan selling 2-crore apartments. The price is a function of where your buyers are, what they cost to reach, how much margin you have to spend on acquisition, and whether your website can actually convert a click into a bKash payment or a phone call. I price after I understand that, not before.

What I will tell you up front is the floor. The smallest engagement I take is 50,000 BDT, because below that I cannot give a campaign the senior attention it needs to actually move a number, and you will end up paying for noise. Real working budgets in Bangladesh sit higher — a serious Meta + Google + landing-page push for a Dhaka SME usually needs a monthly retainer plus a separate ad-spend budget that you control directly inside Meta Business Manager and Google Ads, on your card, with you as the admin. I do not mark up your ad spend. That alone changes the math.

Most agencies in Dhaka quote one of two ways. Either a tiny number (8,000 to 15,000 taka a month) that pays for a fresher to schedule three boosted posts and call it "social media management", or a giant number with no breakdown that buries the actual ad budget inside the agency fee. Both are bad. The first one wastes your money slowly. The second one wastes it quickly while you cannot tell.

What you should be paying for is a senior person who can read a Google Ads search-terms report at 11pm and a Meta ads breakdown by region the next morning, and who will tell you which campaign to kill before you waste another 30,000 taka on it.

I am that person. One operator, no agency layer, no junior account manager you have never met running your ads while charging you for a strategist you never speak to. You pay me, I do the work, and the price reflects exactly that — not an office in Banani, not a sales team, not a creative department I am paying for whether you need them this month or not.

What's included

What 50,000 BDT and up actually buys you

These are the things that move the needle in Bangladesh markets specifically. Pricing covers strategy, execution, optimisation and reporting — ad spend is separate and stays on your card.

01

Senior-only execution

Your ads, your SEO, your tracking and your reports are done by me, not handed to a 22-year-old learning on your budget. That is the single biggest reason the price holds up.

02

Ad spend on your card

Meta Business Manager and Google Ads are set up in your name, billed on your card, and you stay admin. I do not invoice you ad spend with a markup hidden inside it.

03

BD-specific targeting

I write campaigns around real buyer behaviour here — "koto taka" search queries, bKash/Nagad-friendly landing pages, Bangla + English ad copy, and city-level targeting that ignores the wrong districts.

04

Tracking that actually fires

GA4, Meta Pixel and Google Tag Manager set up properly with conversion events for calls, WhatsApp clicks, form submissions and bKash payments — not just a pageview tag dropped in the header.

05

Monthly report you can read

One PDF, in plain language: what we spent, what came back, which campaigns to keep, which to kill. No 40-slide dashboard nobody opens.

06

50/50 milestone payment

Half on start, half on launch for project work. For ongoing retainers, month-to-month — you can stop any month. No 6 or 12-month lock-in to make the price look smaller.

In focus

What actually drives the price up or down in Bangladesh

The biggest cost driver is not what the agency tells you — it is your own offer. If you sell a 500-taka product to cold Facebook traffic in Dhaka, you need a much higher volume of clicks and a much tighter funnel than someone selling a 50,000-taka service to warm referral traffic in Gulshan and Banani. The first scenario needs aggressive creative testing, retargeting flows, abandoned-cart automation and probably WhatsApp follow-up — that is a real workload and the retainer reflects it.

The second scenario can often run on a tight Google Ads search account plus a strong landing page, and the retainer is leaner. I have seen people overpay by 2x because nobody bothered to match the price to the actual offer.

The second driver is whether your website is ready. Sending paid traffic to a slow, mobile-broken WordPress site in Bangladesh — where over 80% of buyers are on mid-range Android phones on patchy mobile data — is the most expensive mistake you can make. Half the budget gets burned on visitors who bounce before the page loads. If your site is not ready, I will tell you on the first call that we should fix the site before we run a single taka of ads, because spending 50,000 BDT a month to send people to a broken funnel is worse than spending nothing. Real digital marketing pricing in Bangladesh has to include that conversation, not skip it to close the deal.

Frequently asked

Straight answers before we build.

Six honest answers about what digital marketing actually costs in Bangladesh.

Digital marketing er price koto Bangladesh e?

My retainers start at 50,000 BDT per month and go up from there based on channels, ad volume and reporting depth. That is the senior-operator price — not the 8,000 taka "social media manager" price you will see on Facebook ads. Ad spend is separate and stays on your card, billed directly by Meta and Google.

Why is your price higher than the 10,000–15,000 BDT agencies on Facebook?

Because at that price you are buying a freelancer scheduling boosted posts on a Canva template, not strategy and conversion work. Nothing wrong with that if that is all you need, but it will not move a real sales number. I price for the work that does.

Is the ad spend included in the 50,000 BDT?

No, and you should never let any agency in Bangladesh bundle them. The retainer is my fee for strategy, execution, optimisation and reporting. Ad spend (Meta, Google, TikTok) is billed by those platforms directly to your card. You stay the admin of your own accounts.

How much should I spend on Meta and Google ads on top of the retainer?

Depends entirely on your offer and margin. For most Dhaka SMEs starting out, a realistic monthly ad budget sits between 30,000 and 1,50,000 BDT. I will tell you on the first call what minimum spend your category actually needs to generate data — anything less is a waste.

Do I have to sign a 6 or 12-month contract?

No. Retainers are month-to-month. The 50% advance / 50% on launch milestone structure applies to project work (website, landing pages, funnel build). For ongoing marketing, you can stop any month with notice. I would rather you stay because the numbers work, not because a contract traps you.

Can you guarantee results at this price?

No, and nobody honest in Bangladesh will. I guarantee the work, the senior attention, the tracking setup and the monthly reporting. What I will not do is promise "first page of Google in 30 days" or "10x ROAS" — anyone selling that is lying or doesn't understand the math. The design and execution quality is guaranteed; the market still has to vote.
