The operator behind the accounts
In Chattogram, most marketing spend leaks before it ever reaches a buyer
Here is the most common situation I walk into in Chattogram. A business is already spending — 5,000 taka boosted on a Facebook post here, 3,000 there, maybe a cousin who 'knows SEO' was paid once and disappeared. The owner cannot tell you a single number that matters: not the cost per lead, not which post brought an actual order, not whether anyone who searched their product on Google ever found them. The money goes out every month and nothing comes back that you could point to.
That is not a budget problem. It is a no-system problem — there is no funnel, no tracking, and no one deciding which channel is even right for this business before the spend starts.
I am RH Fardin, and I run digital marketing as one senior operator, not an agency. The first thing I do is the part everyone skips: figure out where your Chattogram buyer actually is. A clearing-and-forwarding firm near the port and a women's fashion page selling across the city need almost opposite playbooks — one lives on Google search and a credible website, the other on Instagram and Facebook with a checkout that does not break on an old phone. I do not sell you 'a Facebook package' because that is the box I have. I tell you which channels deserve your taka and which are a waste for your specific business, then I run them myself.
Around five years in, the local fit is what I have learned matters most, and it is not the Dhaka playbook shipped south. A Chattogram buyer asks 'koto taka' before anything else, so the ad copy answers price in the first line or it gets scrolled past. The landing page has to load on a mid-range Android with one bar in GEC or Agrabad traffic, not stall for nine seconds while the customer taps back to the search results. The checkout has to take bKash and Nagad cleanly, because that is how this city pays. Get those three things wrong and it does not matter how good your targeting is — the funnel leaks at the last step, every time.
I take a small number of clients on purpose, because the whole point is that the senior person is the one in your accounts. When your cost-per-lead jumps or a conversion tag breaks, you message me on WhatsApp and I open Ads Manager — you do not file a ticket and wait three days for a junior to look. Reporting is one honest set of numbers: calls, WhatsApp leads, form fills, bKash sales. Not 'reach', not impressions, not likes. If the money is not moving, we change the plan — not the colour of the slide it is printed on.
