College Website Design in Dhaka

College website design in Dhaka that survives admission season.

I design and build college websites for Dhaka campuses from Mirpur to Uttara, Dhanmondi to Jatrabari. Admission forms that work on a Walton phone, notice boards parents actually find, prospectuses that open before the bus reaches Shahbagh. Starts at 50,000 BDT, ships with a design-approval guarantee.

Five years building Bangladeshi sites. One senior operator. 50% advance, 50% on launch.

About this work

Most Dhaka college websites are built for the principal, not the student

Every admission cycle in Dhaka follows the same pattern. Class XII results drop, ten thousand students start hunting for HSC and honours seats, and the college website that should be doing the heavy lifting collapses under the traffic. Forms break on mobile. The admission circular is a 4MB scanned PDF nobody can read. The principal's photo loads in HD before the course list does. Meanwhile the office phone is ringing off the hook with parents asking questions that should have been answered on the homepage.

I design college websites in Dhaka the other way around. The student comes to the site on a mid-range Android, on a slow 4G connection somewhere between Mohammadpur and Motijheel, with their father reading over their shoulder. The site has to answer three questions in under ten seconds: do you have the subject I want, how much, how do I apply. Everything else is decoration.

I have been designing and building websites for Bangladeshi clients for around five years. I work alone — no agency middlemen, no junior who actually touches your code while a senior takes the meetings. The same person you message on WhatsApp is the person writing the HTML. That matters when admission season is two weeks away and the EIIN number on the footer needs to change tonight.

Pricing for college websites in Dhaka starts at 50,000 BDT for a focused admission-ready site, with the standard tier at 90,000 BDT and the larger build at 1,50,000 BDT. Anything beyond that — multi-campus, student portals, full LMS integration — starts at 3,00,000 BDT. Always 50% advance, 50% on launch, with a design-approval guarantee so you do not pay the second half until the look is signed off.

What's included

What a Dhaka college actually needs from its website

Not a brochure. A working tool that holds up during admission, exam results, and the next government circular.

01

Admission-ready forms

Online application forms that accept bKash and Nagad payment slip uploads, validate HSC roll numbers, and email the admission office without falling over when 800 students apply on the deadline day.

02

Notice board people find

A dated, filterable notice section instead of a PDF graveyard. Parents in Dhaka search 'notice' first — I put it one tap from the homepage and make every notice shareable on Facebook.

03

Real mobile speed

Optimised for the Tk 12,000 phone on a Banglalink 4G tower, not for the principal's iPhone on campus Wi-Fi. Lighthouse mobile score targets 90+, images served as WebP, fonts subset for Bangla.

04

EIIN and board compliance

Footer fields for EIIN code, Dhaka Education Board affiliation, college code, and MPO information laid out the way the Banbeis directory expects, so verification queries do not bounce.

05

Bangla + English ready

Dual-language structure where it matters — course pages, notices, faculty bios — without the Google Translate widget that mangles every Bangla sentence into nonsense.

06

Dhaka-aware contact

Embedded Google Map pinned correctly inside Dhaka's chaotic addressing, with the actual landmark line ('opposite Bashundhara City', 'beside Asad Gate') the parents will use to find you.

Why college sites in Dhaka break during admission week

Most Dhaka colleges call me in October, after the August admission cycle has gone badly. The story is almost always the same. The previous developer built a beautiful homepage with a video background and a slider of campus photos, charged 35,000 taka, then disappeared. When 2,000 students hit the admission form at once, the shared cPanel hosting cracked, the form started silently dropping submissions, and the admission office found out three days later when angry parents started showing up at the gate with screenshots.

The fix is not a fancier design. It is a college website built like a working tool: a static or hybrid front-end that does not depend on a database for every page load, a queue-aware application form, image compression that respects a 3G connection, and hosting that can be scaled up for the two weeks that actually matter. I size the build for your real admission volume — a Dhanmondi college taking 600 students per session is a different problem from a Uttara college taking 4,000.

The 50,000 BDT starter handles the smaller load cleanly; the 90,000 and 1,50,000 tiers add the form infrastructure, payment-slip verification, and result-publishing pages that the bigger campuses need. You pay for what your admission week will actually do to the server, not for slider plugins.

Real questions Dhaka college admins and principals ask before signing.

College website design in Dhaka koto taka porbe?

A focused admission-ready college website in Dhaka starts at 50,000 BDT — that covers homepage, about, academics, admission with online form, notice section, faculty, gallery, and contact. The 90,000 BDT tier adds a working application form with payment-slip upload, notice filtering by department, and a results page. The 1,50,000 BDT tier is for larger campuses needing alumni, events, downloadable prospectus management, and a basic student-login area. Multi-campus or full ERP-integrated builds start at 3,00,000 BDT.

How long does it take to build a college website before admission season?

Plan on 3 to 5 weeks from advance payment to launch for the 50,000 and 90,000 BDT tiers, and 6 to 8 weeks for the 1,50,000 BDT build. If your admission circular drops in March, I want the contract signed by mid-January. Last-minute rush jobs in Dhaka almost always mean someone is cutting corners on hosting or testing — neither is something you want to discover on application day.

Can the admission form collect bKash or Nagad payment confirmation?

Yes. The standard pattern I build for Dhaka colleges is: student fills the form, the system generates an application ID, the student sends the admission fee to your bKash or Nagad merchant number with the application ID as reference, then uploads the confirmation SMS screenshot. The office verifies and marks the form approved. Direct bKash payment-gateway integration is possible too but adds setup time and merchant approval — most colleges find the screenshot-upload flow faster to launch.

Will the site work for Banbeis verification and EIIN listing?

Yes. The footer and about page are structured to surface your EIIN code, college code, Dhaka Education Board affiliation, year of establishment, MPO status, and EMIS information cleanly. When parents or the board verify your institution, the data they need is on the page without hunting through scanned PDFs.

I am in a govt college — can you handle our procurement paperwork?

I work primarily with private colleges, English-medium institutions, and madrasas in Dhaka where decisions sit with the principal and management committee. For full government colleges with GPO and procurement procedures, I can quote and provide proper trade license and TIN documentation, but the contract timeline depends on your tender cycle, not mine. Tell me what your procurement office needs and I will tell you honestly whether I can match it.

Will you handle the website after launch, or do I need someone else?

You can hire me for ongoing maintenance — typical retainer is 5,000 to 12,000 BDT per month depending on update volume, hosting, and whether you need admission-season standby. You can also take the codebase, hosting credentials, and a handover document and run it in-house or with another developer. Nothing is locked to me. The notice board, gallery, and faculty section have admin panels your office staff can use without touching code.
