What "cheap" actually means at the 50,000 BDT floor in Dhaka
When a Dhaka seller messages and asks koto taka, the honest answer is that I have a hard floor at 50,000 BDT, and I will turn down work below it.
Here is why, plainly: a real online store in Bangladesh has to handle bKash and Nagad payment confirmation, manual order verification (because half your customers will WhatsApp the screenshot instead of submitting it cleanly), cash-on-delivery with courier export to Pathao or Steadfast, a mobile checkout that does not break on a slow Banglalink connection in Mirpur, and a product catalogue that you can actually update from your phone in the evening. Below 50,000 BDT, somebody is cutting corners.
Usually it is the bKash flow that becomes a screenshot-to-inbox mess, or the courier export that does not exist, or the mobile view that quietly destroys conversion. I would rather lose your project than ship that shop with my name on it.
At the 50,000 BDT tier you get the real thing, just lean: one homepage, a clean product catalogue up to about 40 products, cart and checkout with bKash, Nagad and COD, simple courier export, basic SEO setup, and the WhatsApp-Inquiry shortcut Dhaka buyers love. The 90,000 BDT tier adds more product depth, custom-coded sections, blog and category landing pages, and tighter brand styling.
The 1,50,000 BDT tier is for sellers who want a proper brand store, retargeting pixels wired up, and design that does not look like a template. Custom builds (multi-vendor, B2B portals, advanced inventory) start at 3,00,000 BDT. Payment stays 50-50 across all tiers, and the design-approval guarantee means we do not move to code until you are happy with the mockups.
