Why Dhaka business owners come to me for a redesign
The redesign brief I hear in Dhaka, almost word for word
The call usually starts the same way: "Bhai, amar website ta khub slow, mobile e thik moto dekhay na, ar Facebook theke je traffic ashe she gula koi jay bujhi na." Translation: the site is heavy, the mobile version is a mess, and Boosted Facebook traffic is leaking out the back door without a single WhatsApp message or call. That is the Dhaka redesign brief in 2026, and it is almost identical whether the business sells industrial pumps in Tejgaon or runs a cosmetics brand out of Dhanmondi.
I am RH Fardin, a senior website designer and developer based in Bangladesh, and for the last five years I have been quietly rebuilding the kind of Dhaka websites that were originally cobbled together by a cousin, a Fiverr seller, or a 12-person agency that handed the work to a fresh intern. I do every redesign personally. You will not be passed to a project coordinator, a junior designer, or an offshore developer. The person you message on WhatsApp is the person sketching your new homepage at 11pm.
Most Dhaka redesigns I take on are not really design problems, they are decision problems. The old site has eight services on the homepage when only two actually make money. The contact form asks for 11 fields when a phone number and a WhatsApp button would do. The hero image is a stock photo of a foreign office when the buyer wants to see your actual Gulshan showroom. A redesign that ignores those decisions is just repainting a broken car. I start every project by figuring out what the site is supposed to do for your business, then design backwards from there.
Pricing is plain. Most Dhaka redesigns land between 50,000 BDT for a focused small-business site, 90,000 BDT for a mid-size service company with deeper content, and 1,50,000 BDT for a heavier corporate or multi-section rebuild. Fully custom redesigns with bespoke design systems start at 3,00,000 BDT. 50% advance via bank transfer or bKash, 50% on launch. You approve the design before I write production code, in writing, no surprises.
