Why Rajshahi businesses come to me when they finally take Google seriously
Rajshahi runs almost entirely on Facebook — which is exactly why its Google rankings are sitting there unclaimed
Here is the pattern nearly every Rajshahi owner brings to the first call. The business is real and often quietly national in reach — a silk house off Sopura or BSCIC selling sarees and three-piece sets all over the country, a mango trader who ships Himsagar, Langra and Fazli by courier on a bKash advance every summer, a coaching or admission-prep centre that grew off Rajshahi University, RUET and the medical college, a hostel or mess, a clinic near Laxmipur.
And almost all of their marketing lives on one Facebook page, boosted now and then. They have decided to take Google seriously because they have noticed the obvious: when their own customers search for what they sell, a Dhaka or out-of-district competitor shows up and they do not. That is the gap I close, and it is a wide-open one here.
The thing most people in this market get backwards is that Rajshahi's heavy reliance on Facebook is not a reason to skip SEO — it is the reason SEO works so well here. Because so few local businesses have done real search work, the Rajshahi SERP is thin compared to Dhaka or Chattogram. The competition for "silk saree online Bangladesh," for a specific mango variety, for "coaching center in Rajshahi," or for a clinic's exact service is often weak, generic, or out-of-town.
That means a small number of precise, genuinely fast pages built around the right Bangla and English search terms can rank quickly and hold — no hundred-post blog calendar, no spam links. Precision beats spray in a small market, and Rajshahi is a small market full of money that nobody is bothering to capture on Google.
I run this solo on purpose, and for an SEO project that is a feature, not a limitation. Every technical audit, every keyword map, every page of on-page work, every outreach email for a link — I do it myself. There is no account manager forwarding your questions to a Slack channel you cannot see, no intern keyword-stuffing your meta tags while a senior takes the credit on the sales call.
When your Search Console flags an error or your rankings wobble after a Google core update, you do not raise a ticket and wait a week for a Dhaka office to remember you exist. You message me on WhatsApp and I open your account. Around five years into SEO and Google Ads for Bangladeshi and overseas brands, I take a small number of Rajshahi clients precisely so each one gets that kind of senior attention.
"Best" to me is also about saying no, which is rare in a market where everything is sold as a package. I will tell you on the first call if your real problem is a slow, template Facebook-linked site that no amount of ranking will fix, or if Google Ads would get you leads faster for your case — useful when your business is brutally seasonal, like mango, and you cannot wait six months for organic to mature before the season ends.
I do not chase awards, I do not pitch six services I cannot personally deliver, and I will not promise you page one in thirty days, because Google itself calls that a red flag. If you want a logo on a big office, I am not it. If you want the person who wrote the proposal to be the same person logged into your Search Console at night, that is exactly what this is.
