Chattogram does not have a marketing problem — it has a measurement problem
Walk into almost any business in this city — a wholesaler off Khatunganj, a showroom on CDA Avenue, an importer near the port, a clinic in Khulshi — and ask one question: 'Last month you spent on Facebook ads. How many actual orders did it bring?' Nine times out of ten the answer is a shrug, or worse, a screenshot of 'reach' and 'engagement'. That is the real problem in Chattogram. It is not that businesses here refuse to spend on digital marketing — they spend plenty, on boosting posts month after month. It is that nobody set up the tracking to tell them whether the spend turned into taka. You cannot improve what you cannot measure, and most of this city is flying blind.
I am RH Fardin, and I run this practice solo on purpose. Every Google Ads campaign, every SEO audit, every Meta ad set, every conversion tag and GA4 event — I set it up and watch it myself. There is no account manager forwarding your emails to a junior, no 'the team is on it'. The first thing I do on most Chattogram accounts is not launch a campaign — it is wire up proper tracking so we can both see what is happening. bKash and Nagad purchase events into GA4 and the Meta Pixel with deduplication, form fills and WhatsApp clicks counted, phone calls tracked. Only once the measurement is honest do we start spending, because spending before you can measure is just donating to Facebook.
About five years in, I know the Chattogram buyer is not the Dhaka buyer with a different postcode. A port-city trader asks 'koto taka' in the first message and decides fast. A wholesale buyer near Khatunganj wants to see you are real before he calls. An RMG or accessories buyer sourcing for export wants credibility and a fast, professional site, not a boosted carousel. So the ad copy is price-first and direct, in the Bangla-English mix people here actually type, and the landing pages are built to load on a mid-range Android with one bar in GEC or Agrabad congestion — because a page that stalls for nine seconds is a lead handed to a competitor.
Best, to me, also means telling you when not to spend. I will say in the first call if your problem is the website, not the ads — no point pouring budget into traffic that lands on a broken page. I will tell you if Google Ads suits your trade better than Facebook, or if SEO is the patient play your competitive niche actually needs. I take a small number of Chattogram clients on purpose, because the measurement-first, hands-on way only works at low volume. If you want a logo on a 30-desk office and a glossy monthly PDF, I am the wrong call. If you want the person on the proposal to be the same person reading your conversion data at 11pm, that is exactly this.
