Website Redesign Service in Chittagong

Your site is not new anymore, the business has changed, and the website has quietly stopped keeping up. A redesign service worth paying for finds out why before it touches the design.

I am RH Fardin, a senior solo website designer and developer. My website redesign service in Chittagong starts with a diagnosis, not a mockup: I open your existing site the way a Chattogram buyer does — on a phone, on mobile data, looking for one specific answer — and find the exact place it loses them. Then I rebuild it myself, from sitemap to launch. No agency, no juniors, no handoff between the person who promised the work and the person who actually does it. From 50,000 BDT.

One senior operator, ~5 years rebuilding Bangladeshi business sites. 50,000 BDT floor. 50% advance, 50% on launch via bKash, Nagad or bank. You approve the full design before a line of code ships.

About the redesign service

Most Chittagong redesigns start with the wrong question

The owners who message me about a website redesign service in Chittagong almost never have a site that was bad from day one. They have a site that was fine — three, four, five years ago, for the business they were then. Since then the company moved from one shop in Khatunganj to a proper office in Agrabad, added three product lines, started selling to customers who pay by bKash instead of cash on the counter, and the website stayed exactly where it was.

It does not lie about you anymore; it just describes a smaller, older version of you. That gap is the real reason a buyer who clicks through from a Facebook ad or a Google search does not turn into an enquiry — and no amount of new colours fixes a site that is telling the wrong story.

So the first thing I do is refuse to talk about the design. Before I open Figma I open your live site on a mid-range Android over mobile data, the way the overwhelming majority of Chattogram traffic actually arrives, and I try to do the one thing your buyer came to do — find a price, find your address, see a product range, reach you on WhatsApp. I time how long the homepage takes to load in real conditions, not on office Wi-Fi.

I read your last month of WhatsApp and Facebook enquiries to learn the exact questions people keep asking, which is the clearest signal of what your current site fails to answer. The redesign brief comes out of that, not out of my taste in layouts.

I run this service as one person on purpose. The same senior operator who does the diagnosis writes the new structure, designs every page, writes the front-end code, maps the old URLs to new ones so your Google rankings survive the move, and is the one replying on WhatsApp when a buyer is about to open your site before a meeting. There is no salesperson who wins the project and a trainee you never meet who builds it, and nothing falls into the crack between strategy and execution — because there is no crack. You brief one person and that person ships the site.

Pricing is fixed and I will say it before you ask, because in this city the koto-taka question comes in the first message and an honest answer earns more trust than a brochure. A focused redesign of a small business site — bones intact, design and copy and mobile rebuilt — is 50,000 BDT. A mid-size trading or service firm with deeper content and a full rewrite is 90,000 BDT. A heavier corporate or bilingual multi-section rebuild is 1,50,000 BDT. Anything that needs bespoke functionality built from scratch starts at 3,00,000 BDT. Always 50% advance, 50% on launch, and you never owe the second half until you have approved the finished design in writing.

What's included

What this redesign service actually does for a Chittagong business

Six things that separate a real rebuild from a repaint — each one aimed at the specific reason a Chattogram site stops earning enquiries as the business grows past it.

01

Diagnosis first

Before you commit, I tell you what is actually broken — the slow homepage, the buried price, the contact form that fails on mobile — and whether you need a full redesign or just targeted fixes. If a rebuild is overkill for your site, I say so and quote the smaller job instead.

02

Story matched to now

I restructure the site around the company you are today, not the one you were when it was built. New product lines, a bigger office in Agrabad or GEC, the buyers you actually want — the redesigned pages finally describe the real business instead of an outdated, smaller version of it.

03

Rankings carried across

The fastest way to wreck a redesign is to lose the Google rankings the old site quietly earned. I map every existing URL to its new home, set 301 redirects, keep the meta titles already working, and submit a fresh sitemap to Search Console so nothing drops off the map on launch day.

04

Rebuilt for mobile reality

I design the 360px phone view first and test it on a real mid-range Android over Banglalink and Grameenphone data, not just on a Mac. Most rebuilds land under three seconds even in GEC Circle traffic — because a Chattogram buyer waiting eight seconds is already in a competitor's tab.

05

bKash & Nagad ready

Whether it is payment instructions or a full checkout, bKash and Nagad go exactly where a Chattogram buyer expects them, with click-to-call and click-to-WhatsApp on every mobile section. On the old site that flow was usually an afterthought; on the rebuild it is the spine.

06

Handed over clean

Domain in your name, hosting on an account you control, all CMS and code logins handed over in one document on launch. Half the orphaned sites I rebuild got that way because the last vendor kept the keys. I do the opposite — you own everything the day it goes live.

In focus

A redesign is a diagnosis, not a paint job — here is what I am actually looking for

When a Chattogram owner says their site "looks old," the look is rarely the real problem. A dated site that loads fast and answers the buyer's question still earns enquiries; a beautiful site that loads in nine seconds and hides the price does not. So before I design anything I run the existing site against the small set of things that actually decide whether a port-city visitor stays or leaves.

How fast does the homepage become usable on a throttled mobile connection, the kind a wholesaler is on walking through Khatunganj or Reazuddin Bazar. How many taps from landing to contacting you. Whether the price, the product range, or the address — the thing your inbox proves people keep asking for — appears before the first scroll or is buried under a slider nobody reads. And whether the few pages that bring you organic traffic today are protected or about to be deleted in the rebuild.

Those four checks, not the colour palette, are where a redesign is won or lost.

That diagnosis turns into three honest lists before any visual work begins. Keep is whatever is already working — a page ranking on Google, real product and factory photos, a contact flow buyers actually use; throwing those away is how firms lose ground in a redesign.

Rebuild is anything whose intent is right but execution is failing: a service page with the correct offer drowned in grey text, a checkout that works but takes seven taps, a homepage that describes a smaller company than the one you run now from your Agrabad or Pahartali office. Kill is anything that exists only because a past developer added it — the rotating hero slider, the empty "Vision Mission" box, the four chat widgets fighting each other on a phone.

I share those lists and the new sitemap with you on one page and we argue about it on a call before I open Figma. That is the difference between a website redesign service in Chittagong that just looks newer next month and one that is still bringing you enquiries next year — the hard decisions get made on a whiteboard with you, not quietly in a design file at 2am.

Website redesign service Chittagong — koto taka?

A focused redesign of a small business site — where the structure is fine but the design, copy and mobile experience need real work — is 50,000 BDT. A mid-size trading or service firm with deeper content and a full copy rewrite is 90,000 BDT. A heavier corporate or bilingual multi-section rebuild is 1,50,000 BDT. Anything that needs bespoke functionality built from scratch starts from 3,00,000 BDT. Payment is always 50% advance and 50% on launch via bKash, Nagad or bank transfer.

Send me your current URL and I will tell you the exact tier in one message instead of a vague "it depends, sir" — and if your site only needs fixes rather than a full rebuild, I will tell you that too.

How is a redesign different from just fixing or refreshing my existing Chittagong site?

A refresh repaints the homepage and keeps the same broken structure underneath. A redesign rethinks the structure itself — what each page is for, what order the answers come in, how a mobile buyer moves from landing to contacting you — and then rebuilds it. Fixes are the smallest job: if your site is fundamentally sound and just has a slow homepage or a broken form, I will quote the fix, not push you into a full rebuild you do not need. The honest test is whether the site still describes the business you actually run. If it describes a smaller, older version of you, no refresh solves that — that is a redesign.

Will the redesign cost me my Google rankings or my existing traffic?

Not if it is done properly, and protecting that is part of the brief from day one rather than an afterthought. Before launch I map every old URL to its new equivalent, set up 301 redirects for anything that changes, preserve the meta titles and internal links that are already ranking, and submit a fresh XML sitemap to Search Console on launch day. The "redesign killed my SEO" horror story in Chittagong almost always comes from a vendor who simply deleted the old pages — I do not do that. Expect a short two-to-four week wobble at most, then full recovery and usually better, because the rebuilt site is faster and properly mobile-first.

Do I have to rewrite all my content, or can you reuse what is already on my old site?

Both, and I sort which is which during the diagnosis. Anything genuinely good — accurate product details, real specifications, factory or office photos worth keeping — I carry across, clean up and compress so it loads fast. Anything that is vague, outdated or describes the smaller company you used to be gets rewritten as part of the redesign. You do not have to arrive with finished copy; on the focused tiers I rewrite the hero and key pages from your existing material and a single call. The slowest part of any Chittagong redesign is usually waiting on the owner for missing photos or product lists, so I send a short checklist on day one to keep it moving.

Can you keep my domain and business email, or do I lose them in the redesign?

You keep both. A redesign rebuilds the website that sits on your domain — it does not touch the domain itself or your business email unless you specifically want them moved. If your domain or hosting is currently locked inside an old vendor's account, recovering it into your own name is part of the takeover, and I hand everything back to you on launch so you are never held hostage again. If your email is on the same hosting, I plan the migration so it keeps working through the switch with no gap. The goal of the rebuild is that you end up owning more control than you started with, not less.

Can the redesign be done in phases so I do not pay for everything at once?

Often yes, and for a growing Chattogram firm it can be the smart way to do it. If the homepage and one or two key pages are what is actually losing buyers, I can rebuild those first as a focused 50,000 BDT phase, get them live, and redesign the rest in a later stage once they are earning.

What I will not do is split a job just to make the first invoice look smaller while leaving you with a half-redesigned site that clashes with itself — I will tell you honestly whether phasing genuinely serves you or whether doing it in one pass is cleaner and cheaper overall. Either way the payment terms stay simple: 50% advance, 50% on launch, per phase.
