Website Redesign, Dhaka
Most redesign quotes solve the wrong problem
As a website redesign expert in Dhaka, I see the same pattern again and again. A business owner in Banani or Dhanmondi has a site built three or four years ago. Maybe a relative made it, or a cheap agency that vanished. It loads slowly on 4G, the WhatsApp button is buried and the design screams 'template'. The owner can't even update a phone number without paying someone.
So they ask around and get a quote to 'redesign' it. But the quote is really just a fresh coat of paint on the same broken base. Six months later they're back where they started.
A real website redesign isn't about new colours. It's about finding out why the current site doesn't bring in business, and then fixing that exact problem. Before I touch the design, I look at how your site really performs. How fast does it open on a phone? Where do visitors drop off? Do your service pages even say what you do? Can a buyer reach you in one tap?
Half the redesigns I do for Dhaka businesses win just by being fast and obvious on mobile. That's how nearly everyone here finds you.
I work as one senior operator, not an agency. That matters more for a redesign than for a new build. Redesigns are full of judgement calls: what to keep, what to kill and what will confuse your existing customers. You're not handing your live site to a junior who has never run a real redesign.
I personally audit it, design the new version, build it, move your content over and ship it. You sign off at every step, so nothing goes live that you haven't seen.
After about five years, I've learned what scares owners most about a redesign. It isn't the design. It's the fear of losing what already works: their Google ranking, their existing pages and their email forms. I plan around that. We keep your URLs and SEO where it counts and redirect the rest properly. Then we launch in a way that doesn't drop you off Google. The new site should be a clear upgrade, not a gamble.
