The signal I would look for instead is whether one senior person owns your project from kickoff to launch and is willing to put that in writing. Ask the company who specifically writes your front-end. Ask who configures your hosting and SSL. Ask who handles your bKash and Nagad integration. If the answers are three different names and a "team lead" you have never met, that is the gap where your project will get lost. Yes, and it is in writing. We agree on the design direction before I write production code. You see the homepage design and one inner-page design first. If you do not approve the direction at that stage, you do not pay the second 50%. I keep the 50% advance to cover discovery, design and initial concepts. I would rather lose half the fee occasionally than ship a site you secretly hate.
Yes. I set up domain and hosting (you own them in your own account, I do not hold your assets hostage like some agencies in Bangladesh do), configure SSL, install Google Analytics and Search Console, and wire bKash, Nagad, card or cash-on-delivery wherever they apply.
