Why every website quote in Rajshahi is a different number
The problem is not the price. It is that nobody tells you what is inside the price.
If you have asked around for a website design price in Rajshahi, you know the strange part. The quotes do not cluster. They scatter. A student near RUET says 6,000. A small local firm off Saheb Bazar says 25,000. A Dhaka outfit you found on Facebook says 80,000. Someone's cousin says he will do it free if you buy hosting through him.
Now you hold four numbers that are miles apart, for a thing everyone calls "a website." Not one of them has told you what is in the box. That is the real reason pricing feels impossible here. It is not that websites are expensive. The word "website" hides four different products, and the price tag never says which one you are looking at. By the end of this page, you will be able to read any Rajshahi quote, mine included.
So here is the honest map of what those numbers mean. Once you can read a quote, it stops being scary. The 6,000-taka number is almost always a free or stolen WordPress theme with new colours. The stock text is swapped out, and the contact form goes to an inbox nobody checks. There is no real design, no speed work, no SEO, and no one around to fix it later.
The 25,000 number is usually a slightly better version of the same thing. It is a paid theme with a little customising, but still a template wearing your logo. The 80,000-plus agency number can be real work. But part of it is overhead: the office, the account manager, the junior who builds it, and the margin on every hour.
What almost nobody quotes is the middle option. That is a properly designed, fast, mobile-first site, built and shipped by one senior person who is still easy to reach in month six. That gap is exactly where I work.
I am RH Fardin, and I have spent about five years building sites for the businesses Rajshahi runs on. That includes coaching centres and admission-prep institutes that serve the university and medical-college crowd. It includes clinics and diagnostic chambers around the Medical and Laxmipur area, and silk and clothing showrooms. It also includes mango traders who are quiet ten months a year, then flat-out in season.
And it includes shops along Saheb Bazar and New Market that take payment by bKash and Nagad. I do the discovery call, the design, the front-end build, the on-page SEO, the speed pass and the launch myself. I can publish a flat price instead of quoting by feel because there is no team to feed and no margin to protect. The number matches the work, not how much you look like you will pay.
Here is the whole ladder in writing. 50,000 BDT buys a focused, fast site that earns trust and brings in enquiries. 90,000 BDT buys the larger build most growing Rajshahi firms choose. 1,50,000 BDT buys a deeper bilingual site with a downloadable profile. From 3,00,000 BDT, the brief is truly custom, like online ordering or a portal. You approve the full design before I write code. The price does not move after sign-off unless you add scope, and I quote that first.
