I have three fixed tiers, starting at 50,000 BDT, with a written scope. You pay 50% upfront on bKash or bank and 50% on launch. You see the price before you commit, not after.

Almost every Dhaka business owner asks me "website design er koto taka lagbe" on the first call. The honest website design cost in Dhaka runs from 25,000 BDT to 8-10 lakh BDT. At the low end is a college student with a free template. At the high end is a 15-person agency in Gulshan with account managers and big overheads.
My pricing sits in the middle of that range on purpose. That is where the real value is for a small or mid-sized business in Dhaka. You get senior work without paying for a large team you never talk to.
I am RH Fardin, a solo website designer with about five years of work. My clients are across Dhaka, the rest of Bangladesh, and a few overseas markets. I take the brief myself. I design the wireframes, build the site, write the on-page SEO and push it live. When something breaks, I answer the support email too.
There is no project manager. Nobody says "our junior will handle this part." You will not get a surprise add-on invoice three weeks in. You deal with the same person from the first call to launch day.
So what does that mean for cost? My prices are higher than a freelancer in a Facebook group quoting 15,000 BDT. They are clearly lower than the big agencies in Banani or Gulshan, who quote 5 lakh or more for the same scope. You pay for a senior person doing the work from start to finish. You do not pay for a sales team and a tower-block office.
Every quote I send is written, itemised and locked. Say you approve the 90,000 BDT business package. Then you pay 90,000 BDT. You do not pay 90,000 plus a "hosting setup fee," plus "SSL," plus "content migration" on top. That is how it usually goes elsewhere, and it is not how I work.

Up to 10 pages with a custom design, not a recycled template. You also get a blog, WhatsApp and Messenger links, Google Analytics 4, and location and schema markup. This suits most Dhaka SMEs that want to rank locally.
15 or more pages and a deeper SEO base. It adds lead-form tracking and speed work to load in under 2 seconds. You also get custom drawings or photo styling. We finish with a content workshop to plan your next 90 days.
This covers online stores with bKash and Nagad checkout, sites in more than one language and booking systems. It also covers custom dashboards, or anything a template cannot do. I quote these only after a proper scope call.
You pay half when the scope is signed and half on launch day. There is no 100% upfront and no surprise "final invoice." You can pay by bKash, Nagad merchant or direct bank transfer. The choice is yours.
If you do not approve the first design round, we revise until you do. This is included in the price. No client has ever walked away at this stage. That is because I scope the brief before I quote, not after.
Ask three people in Dhaka for a website quote and you may hear 15,000 BDT to 4,00,000 BDT for the same job. The gap is not about greed or naivety. It comes from what each one really delivers. A 15,000 BDT quote is almost always a free WordPress theme with your logo dropped in. It sits on a shared hosting plan the freelancer also resells. There is no real SEO setup, no Core Web Vitals work, and no support after handover.
A 4,00,000 BDT agency quote pays for a project manager, a separate UI designer, a developer and a QA person. It also pays for their office near Gulshan-2. Both can "build a website" on paper. Neither one is right for most owner-run businesses in Dhaka.
So what really drives cost in this market? First, the number of unique page templates, not the page count. Ten pages built on 2 templates is cheap. Five pages built on 5 templates is not. Next comes whether you supply the copy or I write it, and whether you need custom drawings or stock images. Add-ons matter too: bKash and Nagad payments, courier APIs for delivery, and Bangla plus English versions.
The last big factor is SEO. Is it bolted on at the end, or built into the design from day one? My quotes list each of these items. You see exactly what you pay for and what to drop if the budget is tight. If 50,000 BDT is firm, we ship a great 5-page site. We do not pretend to ship a 15-page online store at that price and then hand over something half-finished.

Here is the honest range. A 5-page business site is 50,000 BDT. A well-built 10-page site with SEO and add-ons is 90,000 BDT. A growth-focused site is 1,50,000 BDT. Custom online stores or web apps start at 3,00,000 BDT. Anything under 25,000 BDT in Dhaka is almost always a copy-paste template with no support.
At 20,000 BDT, the freelancer cannot afford to do real work. After hosting, domain and tools, that pays for only a few days of senior time in Dhaka. You usually get a free Envato theme, no SEO setup and no analytics. Nobody answers when something breaks in month two. My 50,000 BDT covers about 3-4 weeks of senior work. It also covers the first 30 days of support.
The scope can change, but the rate does not. If 90,000 BDT is too high, we drop pages or features and bring the price down honestly. I will not cut 30% off the same scope just to win a project. That always ends in cut corners.
Yes. You pay 50% upfront and 50% on launch. You can use bKash merchant, Nagad or direct bank transfer. Dutch-Bangla, City Bank and BRAC Bank all work, so pick the one you like. For amounts over 2,00,000 BDT, I prefer bank transfer. It makes receipts and accounting easier.
Yes. Every package includes the first year of hosting and a .com or .com.bd domain. From year two, hosting costs about 6,000-12,000 BDT a year, based on the plan. You pay the provider directly. I do not mark up hosting the way some Dhaka agencies do.
For the first 30 days after launch, small tweaks are free. That means text changes, image swaps and minor bug fixes. After that, small changes cost 2,000-5,000 BDT each. Or you can take a retainer at 15,000 BDT a month. It covers ongoing edits, content uploads and basic SEO upkeep.
