The cheapest website design and development price in Dhaka is around 8,000 to 15,000 BDT. The most expensive quote will cross 5,00,000 BDT for a basic 8-page corporate site. Both are real. But neither tells you anything useful unless someone explains what is inside the number. Almost nobody in this market does that, because vague pricing is how agencies protect their margins.

Third is content. If your copy is ready in Bangla and English, we move fast. If I have to draft it, that extra time is billed honestly. Fourth is the build approach. A clean WordPress site on a customised theme is one number. A fully custom Next.js build with a headless CMS is about 3 to 4 times that. Most Dhaka businesses do not need the second one. Pro is 1,50,000 BDT: up to 18 pages with advanced sections like team, case studies, pricing and FAQ. It adds a multilingual setup, light ecommerce (up to 20 products) or a booking module, and performance tuning, delivered in 4 to 6 weeks. Anything bigger starts at 3,00,000 BDT, like heavy ecommerce, custom web apps, multi-vendor marketplaces or ERP links. I quote it after a proper scoping call. Payment is always 50% advance and 50% on launch, by bKash, Nagad or bank.

My floor is 50,000 BDT for a real custom 5-page site. The three published tiers are 50,000 BDT (starter, up to 5 pages) and 90,000 BDT (business, up to 10 pages with blog and forms). The third is 1,50,000 BDT (pro, up to 18 pages with multilingual and light ecommerce or booking). Custom projects start at 3,00,000 BDT. Anyone in Dhaka quoting under 25,000 BDT for design and development is selling a recycled template with no support. Or they will vanish after the advance.
At 10,000 BDT in Dhaka, someone buys a 15 USD template and swaps your logo in. They host it on a shared server they don't control and move on to the next client by Friday. There is no design phase, no revisions, no proper SEO setup and no handover notes. Usually nobody answers your WhatsApp three months later when the site breaks. 50,000 BDT pays for real design and development work. If your budget is truly 10,000 to 15,000 BDT, use Wix or Shopify directly and skip the middleman.
The published tiers do not include VAT. If your business is VAT-registered and you need a Mushak challan, 15% VAT is added to the invoice and goes straight to the NBR. If you don't need a formal invoice, the price stays as quoted. Most small businesses in Dhaka don't need one. We agree on this before the contract, not after.
For the Pro tier (1,50,000 BDT) and custom projects (3,00,000 BDT and up), I can split it into three payments. That is 40% advance, 30% at design approval and 30% on launch. For the Starter and Business tiers, I keep it 50/50. Those projects are too short for milestone billing to make sense. All payments go through bKash, Nagad or direct bank transfer.
Yes. Every package includes a .com domain (about 1,500 BDT a year). It also includes one year of solid shared hosting that suits the tier (about 5,000 to 8,000 BDT a year). After year one, you renew directly with the provider in your name. I never hold your domain or hosting hostage. A .com.bd domain (BTCL registration) has separate paperwork and a higher cost. I will walk you through it.
