Website Design and Development BD

Website design and development in Bangladesh, done by the same person start to finish.

Most quotes in BD split design and development across two teams, then nobody owns the seams. I handle both. I draw the layout, write the front-end, wire the back-end and hand you a live site you can actually edit. No handoffs, no "the developer changed my design," no agency markup on top of a junior's work.

Around 5 years building sites solo. One senior operator on your project. Fixed scope from 50,000 BDT, 50% to start and 50% on launch.

Who builds it

Design and development are one job, so one person should do both

When you split a website into "design" and "development" and give them to different people, the design always loses. The designer hands over a beautiful Figma file, the developer builds something that's 80% of it, and three rounds later you've paid for a site that looks worse than the mockup you approved. I do both halves myself, so what you sign off on is what goes live.

I'm RH Fardin. I design the pages, write the HTML, CSS and JavaScript, set up the CMS or back-end, connect the forms and payments, and put it on a server. There's no internal handoff because there's no internal team. You talk to the person who is actually building your site, every time.

That also means I tell you straight what's worth doing and what isn't. If you ask for an animation that'll slow your site to a crawl on a 4G phone in Sylhet, I'll say so. If a plain three-page site is all your business needs this year, I won't sell you a ten-page one. Five years of doing this has made me allergic to scope that doesn't earn its keep.

I work fixed-scope and fixed-price. We agree exactly what the site includes before you pay anything, you put down 50% to start, and the rest is due when it goes live and you're happy. No "it's basically done" invoices, no surprise add-ons halfway through.

What's included

What you get when design and dev sit with one person

These aren't features I list on every page. They're the specific things that go right when the same operator owns both the look and the code of your website.

01

Approved equals shipped

The design you sign off on is the one I build, pixel for pixel. There's no second team to reinterpret it, so the live site matches the mockup instead of a watered-down version of it.

02

Built for BD phones

Most of your visitors arrive on a mid-range Android over mobile data, not a laptop on fibre. I design mobile-first and keep the page light so it loads fast on real Bangladeshi networks, not just on my screen.

03

One throat to choke

When something breaks, you don't get bounced between a designer and a coder blaming each other. You message one person who knows every line of the site and can fix it.

04

You can edit it yourself

I hand over a site where you can change text, swap photos and add posts without calling me for every comma. I'll walk you through it once on a screen-share so it actually sticks.

05

Bangla and English ready

Fonts, spacing and forms that handle Bangla properly, not boxes and broken line-breaks. If you sell to both audiences, the site reads cleanly in either language.

06

Local payments wired in

If you need to take money, I set up bKash and Nagad alongside cards so your customers pay the way they actually pay in Bangladesh, instead of abandoning at a card-only checkout.

In focus

"Design and development" — what each half actually means here

A lot of buyers in Bangladesh aren't sure where design ends and development begins, and some shops use the confusion to bill twice. Here's the honest split. Design is everything you see and feel: the layout of each page, where the buttons go, the colours, the fonts, how it reorganises itself on a phone, and how a first-time visitor figures out what you do and how to contact you in a few seconds. Development is everything that makes it work: the code that turns the design into a real web page, the forms that send you leads, the CMS so you can update content, the speed tuning, the SSL and hosting setup, and the payment integration if you're selling.

Sold separately, the design half might run 20,000–40,000 BDT from a freelancer and the development half another bill on top, and you're left stitching two vendors together. With me it's one fixed scope and one price starting at 50,000 BDT. Tiers run 50,000, 90,000 and 1,50,000 BDT depending on page count and features, and fully custom work starts at 3,00,000 BDT. Before you pay, you get a written list of exactly what design and what development is included so "it's not in scope" never becomes a fight later. And yes, there's a design-approval guarantee: we don't move into build until you've actually approved the look.

Frequently asked

Straight answers before we build.

Straight answers to what people in Bangladesh ask before hiring someone to design and build their website.

Website design and development e koto taka lage?

It starts at 50,000 BDT for a clean, fully built site, with tiers at 50,000, 90,000 and 1,50,000 BDT as you add pages and features. Fully custom builds start at 3,00,000 BDT. The price covers both design and development together, so there's no second invoice for one half. You pay 50% to start and 50% when it launches.

Why not just hire a designer and a developer separately to save money?

You can, and on paper it sometimes looks cheaper. The problem is the gap between them: the design rarely gets built exactly as drawn, and when something's off, each blames the other while you wait. Having one person own both means what you approve is what ships, and one number covers the whole job instead of two bills you have to reconcile.

Will I be able to update the website myself afterwards?

Yes. I build it so you can change text, swap images and add new pages or posts on your own, and I do a one-time screen-share to show you how. You're not locked into paying me for every small edit. If you'd rather I handle ongoing changes, that's available too, but it's your choice, not a trap.

Can the site take bKash and Nagad payments?

Yes, if you're selling online I set up bKash and Nagad alongside card payments so customers pay the way they're used to in Bangladesh. A card-only checkout loses a lot of local buyers, so for most BD businesses mobile money isn't optional. We scope exactly which gateways you need before build starts.

How long does design and development take?

A standard small business site is usually a few weeks from approved design to launch; bigger or custom builds take longer. The honest variable is how fast you get me content and feedback. Because I'm one person and not waiting on a team's queue, the schedule depends mostly on us two, and I'll give you realistic dates at the start, not optimistic ones.

I'm outside Dhaka — can you still build my site?

Yes. The whole thing runs over WhatsApp, calls and screen-shares, so where you are in Bangladesh makes no difference. I've worked this way with clients in different cities; you never need to come to me. Payment is straightforward by bank transfer or bKash/Nagad, 50% up front and 50% at launch.
