Development pricing, Bogura
What "web development price in Bogura" is really buying - and why a design quote and a development quote are not the same number
Almost every Bogura business owner opens with the same line: "Bhai, website banaite koto taka?" Fair question - but "website" hides two very different jobs with two different price tags. Design is what the site looks like: the layout, the colours, the photos. Development is what the site does: the product catalogue that loads with real specs, the enquiry form that reaches your phone, the bKash flow that completes, the database underneath, the hosting that survives your busy season.
A pretty design quote can be cheap because pixels are cheap to fake. A real web development price has to pay for the machinery that makes those pixels actually work for a wholesaler in Dhaka filling in your form at 9pm - and that is where the honest number comes from.
Here is the floor and what it pays for. I do not develop anything under 50,000 BDT, because below that you cannot pay for a build that loads fast, routes enquiries reliably, and holds up on the mid-range Androids your out-of-district buyers are using. From there the development price moves in three clear tiers. 50,000 BDT for a focused, properly developed site of up to about five pages - real catalogue, working enquiry routing, your bKash or Nagad wired in.
90,000 BDT when the development gets heavier: a larger product catalogue, online enquiry or booking logic, a blog, stronger on-page SEO. 1,50,000 BDT for a full bilingual Bangla-and-English build or a basic shop with order handling. And from 3,00,000 BDT for genuinely custom development - real ecommerce, a dashboard, integrations, a back end built from scratch. The tier is decided by how much the site has to do, not by how many pages you have.
The reason I can name development numbers this cleanly is that there is no agency in the middle inflating them. When a Bogura firm or a Dhaka shop quotes you, part of that price is office rent, a salesman's commission, a project manager who only forwards emails, and a junior who actually writes the code badly behind the logo. With me, the person who scopes the development is the person who writes the back end and hands you the live site.
That is why a 90,000 BDT build from one senior developer routinely does more real work than a 1,50,000 BDT quote from a shop that subcontracts the development to whoever is cheapest that month - you are paying for the code, not the overhead stacked on top of it.
Payment is structured so neither of us is exposed: 50% advance to begin the development, 50% when the site goes live and you have signed off. bKash, Nagad or bank transfer - whatever is easiest. And there is a design-approval guarantee, so we lock the full design before a single line of code is written - you approve the look first and pay for the build second, never the other way around. If your honest budget is under 50,000 BDT I will tell you on the first call and point you at a real template option rather than ship a half-built site I would be ashamed to put my name on.
