Web Design in Dhaka

Web design in Dhaka, done by the same person from the first call to the live site.

Searching "web design in Dhaka" gets you a thousand Facebook pages, a hundred agency landing pages, and one honest question you can't answer yet: who is actually going to build the thing? With me, the answer is simple — I am. I design, write, code and ship the whole site myself, starting at 50,000 BDT.

One senior solo designer. ~5 years building sites for Dhaka businesses. 50% advance, 50% on launch. Design-approval guarantee — you sign off on the look before the final payment.

About RH Fardin

Choosing web design in Dhaka is really a trust problem, not a price problem

Here is what actually happens when a Dhaka business owner goes looking for web design. You message four or five people you found on Facebook and a couple of agency pages. Two never reply. One sends a PDF with five "packages" and a logo you've seen on twenty other proposals. One quotes 18,000 taka and one quotes 2.5 lakh for what sounds like the same site, and now you have no idea what a website should even cost. That confusion isn't your fault — the Dhaka market is genuinely split between people undercharging because they're using templates and people overcharging because they're paying for an office in Banani. Nobody is telling you the plain version.

I'm RH Fardin, a solo senior web designer and developer based in Bangladesh, with roughly five years of building sites for Dhaka businesses — consultants and clinics in Dhanmondi, traders and importers around Motijheel and Old Dhaka, boutiques in Gulshan and Banani, online sellers shipping out of Mirpur and Uttara. I'm not an agency and I don't subcontract. The person who picks up your first call is the same person who draws the wireframes, designs every screen, writes the code, sets up the SEO and pushes the site live. That continuity is the whole product.

My pricing is public on purpose, because half the stress of buying web design in Dhaka is not knowing the number. The floor is 50,000 BDT. The three standard tiers are 50,000 / 90,000 / 1,50,000 BDT depending on how many pages and how much functionality you need, and fully custom builds start from 3,00,000 BDT. I take 50% to start and 50% on launch — I won't begin without the advance, and I won't chase you for the balance, because it isn't due until the site is live and signed off.

The design-approval guarantee is the part that fixes the trust problem. You don't pay the final 50% until you actually look at the design and say yes. Inside the agreed scope, I keep refining the visual direction — colour, layout, type, the feel of it — until it's right, not until I'm tired. You're not gambling an advance on a stranger's taste and hoping it works out. You're approving real work before you fund the rest of it.

What's included

What good web design in Dhaka actually looks like

Not features on a brochure — the specific things that decide whether a Dhaka buyer trusts your site enough to message you.

01

Transparent pricing

The number is on the table before you commit: 50,000 BDT floor, tiers at 90,000 and 1,50,000, custom from 3,00,000. No mystery quote that shifts after you say yes.

02

One owner

Same person on the discovery call, the design, the code and the launch. Nothing gets lost in a handover because there is no handover — it's all me.

03

Built for phones

Most of your buyers find you on a phone over 4G, often at night. The site is designed thumb-first and tuned to load fast on a real Dhaka connection, not just on your laptop.

04

bKash & Nagad flows

Payment the way your customers actually pay — clear bKash/Nagad instructions and confirmation on smaller builds, full automated checkout on the ecommerce tier.

05

Findable on Google

Clean structure, proper titles and meta, schema, compressed images and Search Console connected before launch — so people searching in Dhaka can actually find you.

06

Approve before you pay

The design-approval guarantee means the final 50% is due only after you sign off on the look. In-scope revisions continue until it's right.

In focus

Your website is the only salesperson in Dhaka that works at 1 AM

Think about how your customer actually finds you. They don't walk past your office in Gulshan and decide to come in. They're sitting in a CNG in Mohakhali, or in bed in Bashundhara, and they Google what they need. Whatever comes up — your site or a competitor's — has about four seconds to look credible on a 6.5-inch screen before the thumb moves on. That moment is the entire job of web design in Dhaka. Not awards, not animations nobody asked for.

Does this look like a real business I can hand money to, and can I message them in two taps? Get that right and the site sells while you sleep. Get it wrong and the best ad budget in the city just funnels buyers to a page that loses them.

That's why I design from the buyer's side of the screen, not the brochure's. Before any visuals, I want to know who's searching for you, on what device, in what mood, and what one thing they need to see to message you instead of the next result.

Then the site is built around that — a layout that loads fast, a phone and WhatsApp button that's never more than a tap away, payment instructions a bKash user understands without thinking, and copy that answers the "koto taka" and "can I trust them" questions before the buyer has to ask. A Dhaka website that does this quietly outperforms a flashier one that doesn't, because conversion is a trust problem, and trust is built in those first four seconds.

Frequently asked

Straight answers before we build.

The questions Dhaka buyers actually ask me — starting with the one that comes first in every single conversation.

Web design in Dhaka — koto taka?

The honest floor is 50,000 BDT for a real, custom, mobile-first site. From there it's three tiers: 50,000 BDT (a focused small-business site), 90,000 BDT (more pages plus things like booking or a blog), and 1,50,000 BDT (small ecommerce, bigger feature set, Bangla + English). Fully custom builds start from 3,00,000 BDT. Payment is 50% to start and 50% on launch. If someone quotes you 15,000–20,000 taka for a "custom" website, it's a template with your logo dropped on it — that's the quiet truth of the cheap end of the Dhaka market.

Why are web design quotes in Dhaka so wildly different from each other?

Because two different businesses are answering you. The 18,000-taka quote is usually one freelancer reusing a template across ten clients at once — fast, cheap, and forgettable. The 2.5-lakh quote is often an agency where a big slice of the budget pays for the office, the project manager and the account handler, while a junior does your actual design. At 50,000 BDT I sit in the honest middle: enough budget to do genuine custom design, mobile testing and SEO, with no org chart to fund. Same senior person doing all of it.

I'm not in Gulshan or Banani — do you only work with businesses in those areas?

Not at all. I've built sites for businesses across Dhaka — Dhanmondi, Mirpur, Uttara, Motijheel, Old Dhaka, Mohakhali, Bashundhara. Web design is remote work; your location only matters because it tells me who your buyers are. A wholesale trader in Motijheel needs a very different site from a Dhanmondi clinic or a Mirpur online seller, and I design for that buyer, not for a generic 'Dhaka' that doesn't exist.

Will my site actually load fast on mobile data here?

Yes, because that's where your buyers are. I compress every image properly, keep scripts lean, use fonts that load quickly, and test on a throttled connection that behaves like real 4G in places like Mirpur and Old Dhaka. A site that takes nine seconds on a phone in a CNG has already lost the customer. Fast-on-mobile isn't a line in the proposal — it's how the whole thing is built from the first screen.

How do I know you won't take the advance and disappear like the last person?

Fair question — it happens far too often in Dhaka, which is exactly why my process is built against it. Pricing is public, so there's no bait-and-switch. The schedule is 50% advance and 50% on launch, and the balance is only due once the site is live and you've approved it. The design-approval guarantee means you see and sign off on real design work before you pay the rest. You're never funding 100% of a project on faith — you pay the back half against something you can see.

Can you take my old website or redo a half-finished one someone abandoned?

Often, yes. A lot of Dhaka owners come to me holding a half-built site a freelancer walked away from, or an old one that doesn't work on phones and gets zero leads. I'll look at what exists, tell you honestly whether it's worth rescuing or cleaner to rebuild — sometimes salvaging a broken project costs more than starting fresh — and then quote it at the tier that fits. No pressure to bin work that's actually usable, and no patching something that's beyond saving just to look cheaper.
