Shopify pricing, no games
Why the "price" of a Shopify store confuses everyone in Bangladesh
Almost every Shopify pricing question I get in Bangladesh mixes up two completely separate costs. There is the one-time fee to design and build your store — that is what I charge, and it starts at 50,000 BDT. Then there is the platform itself: Shopify is a rented system, billed in US dollars every single month, whether you make a sale or not. A lot of people only hear the build price, sign up, and then get a shock on the first card statement. I would rather you see both numbers before you commit.
On the build side my tiers are simple: 50,000 BDT for a clean starter store, 90,000 BDT for a mid store with a properly designed theme and the apps a real shop needs, and 1,50,000 BDT for a larger catalogue with custom sections, collections logic and a polished checkout experience. If you need something genuinely bespoke — heavy customisation, custom app work, complex inventory — that is custom scope from 3,00,000 BDT. Payment is 50% advance to start and 50% on launch. No retainer trap, no padded line items.
The part nobody warns Bangladeshi store owners about: Shopify Payments does not operate here. That single fact shapes your whole cost picture, because you will run a third-party gateway for cards and you will want bKash, Nagad and cash-on-delivery wired in — and Shopify quietly adds a transaction fee on top of every order when you are not using Shopify Payments. I build around that reality instead of pretending it does not exist.
I am one person — I design, build and ship your store myself. There is no account manager quoting you one figure and a junior doing the work. When I give you a Shopify store development price, it is the price the person actually building it stands behind. And nothing gets built on the store until you approve the design — that is my design-approval guarantee, in writing.
