Online Store Development Price in Chittagong

The online store development price in Chittagong is not one number - it is a list of decisions. Here is the list, and what each one costs.

Two sellers near GEC can be quoted the same '70,000 taka for an online store' and get two completely different things - one with payments wired in, one without. On this page I break the price down the way an honest quote should read: what you are paying for, what is excluded, and why the floor sits at 50,000 BDT. Tiers run 50,000 / 90,000 / 1,50,000, custom from 3,00,000. The demo you approve is the store that launches, and I build all of it myself.

Floor 50,000 BDT. Itemised quote, not a round number. 50% advance, 50% on launch. Design approved before any code - one senior operator on the build, start to finish.

Online store development price Chittagong

The price isn't the problem. The vague quote is.

A man who runs an electronics shop off CDA Avenue told me he had been quoted 65,000 taka for a 'complete online store.' He paid the advance, the homepage looked sharp, and then he found out that bKash, the order panel and the courier address form were each a separate line he would be invoiced for later. By the time the store could actually take a paid order, he was past one lakh twenty - for a build that should have been one clean number from the start.

That is the real issue with online store development price in Chittagong: not that good work costs money, but that the round figure you are quoted hides what is in and what is bolted on afterward.

So this page does the unglamorous thing and treats price as a breakdown, not a banner. When you ask what online store development costs in Chittagong, the honest answer is another question: how many products, how many variants, which payments, who packs the orders, and how far do the parcels travel? Each of those moves the number in a way you can see. A single-line seller in Khulshi with forty SKUs and cash-on-delivery is a different build, and a different price, from a Khatunganj trader running wholesale tiers and a few hundred items. Same words on the quote - 'online store' - genuinely different work behind it.

I'm RH Fardin, a solo website designer and developer based in Bangladesh, around five years building the small-to-mid online stores Chattogram actually runs - apparel sellers near GEC, homeware shops out toward Patenga, traders working off Agrabad. I scope the store, design it, wire bKash, Nagad and cash-on-delivery, set the order flow, test it on real phones and hand over an admin your team can run. No junior inheriting your shop after the kickoff call, no account manager re-pricing the job halfway through. When I send a quote, every line on it is something you can point at.

The floor is 50,000 BDT, and that is a launched, working store - not a deposit toward a number that keeps climbing. Tiers run 50,000 / 90,000 / 1,50,000 BDT as products, order volume and automation grow, and fully custom builds start at 3,00,000 BDT. Terms are the same for everyone in Chattogram and out: 50% advance to begin, 50% on launch, and a design-approval guarantee - I do not write store code until you have signed off on the look. You will know the full price before the advance clears, and it will not move unless you ask for more scope.

What's included

What you're actually paying for at the 50,000 BDT price

When someone in Chittagong quotes you a price for an online store, these are the six things that should be inside it - not invoiced back to you the week before launch. This is the line-by-line behind the floor figure.

01

Payments in the price

bKash, Nagad and cash-on-delivery wired into checkout as part of the build, not a separate invoice after the homepage is done. The single line that most cheap Chittagong quotes quietly leave out and bill you for later.

02

Itemised quote

You get the price as a breakdown - design, product setup, payments, order flow, courier fields - so you can see what each taka buys and compare it honestly against the other quote on your desk.

03

Locked at advance

The number you approve is the number you pay. Once the 50% advance clears, the price does not creep upward unless you ask for new scope - no surprise lines the week before launch, which is how the CDA Avenue story usually ends.

04

Scope, then number

I price after I understand your products, variants, payments and shipping - not a round figure pulled before we talk. A forty-SKU COD shop and a wholesale catalogue are different builds, and the quote says so plainly.

05

Courier fields included

Division, district, thana and area built into checkout so a parcel leaving Agrabad or Halishahar reaches a buyer nationwide without your team retyping addresses. Built in at the floor, not sold as an upgrade.

06

Built by the operator

The person quoting is the person building - around five years doing exactly this. The price is low because there is no agency layer marking it up, not because the work behind it is thinner.

How to read two Chittagong store quotes side by side

If you have two prices in front of you - say 45,000 from someone who answered fast on WhatsApp and 70,000 from me - do not compare the numbers first. Compare the lines.

Ask the cheaper quote five questions: is bKash and Nagad checkout included or extra, does the price cover setting up my actual products or just an empty template, is there an order panel my team can run from a phone, does the checkout collect a courier-ready address for parcels going outside Chattogram, and is this the final figure or a deposit.

Half the time the gap between 45,000 and 70,000 disappears the moment those five lines are filled in - the cheap quote was the same store with the expensive parts deleted, ready to be invoiced back to you the week before launch. That is the exact trap that took the CDA Avenue shop past one lakh twenty.

This is why I quote online store development in Chittagong as a breakdown rather than a banner number. At 50,000 BDT you get a real launched store - your products set up, bKash, Nagad and cash-on-delivery in checkout, courier-ready address fields for nationwide shipping, and an admin your team can run themselves.

The step up to 90,000 or 1,50,000 BDT is not me padding the figure; it is named work - deep size-and-colour variants, wholesale or dealer pricing tiers, courier API so orders auto-push instead of a daily CSV, automated SMS and abandoned-cart recovery. Fully custom builds from 3,00,000 BDT are for stores whose logic genuinely needs it.

You will always know which tier you are in and why, because the quote lists the reasons - and if a cheaper number can honestly do your job, I will tell you that too, on the first call, before either of us has spent a taka.

Straight answers before we build.

The questions Chattogram sellers ask me before paying the first 50% - most of them about what the price does and doesn't cover. If yours isn't here, message me directly.

Online store banate Chittagong-e koto taka lage? What's the real price?

It starts at 50,000 BDT for a working store - your products set up, a checkout that captures orders, bKash and Nagad plus cash-on-delivery, courier-ready address fields for nationwide shipping, and an admin your team can run from a phone. Tiers run 50,000 / 90,000 / 1,50,000 BDT depending on how many products and variants you carry and how much payment and courier automation you need; fully custom builds start at 3,00,000 BDT. I quote it as an itemised breakdown, not a round number, so you can see what every line buys. Terms are 50% advance, 50% on launch.

Someone in Agrabad quoted me 40,000 for the same thing. Why is your floor 50,000?

Because the two quotes are almost never the same store. Ask the 40,000 figure five things: is bKash and Nagad checkout included, does it cover setting up your real products or just an empty template, is there an order panel you can actually run, does checkout collect a courier-ready address for parcels leaving Chittagong, and is that the final price or a deposit. Most of the time the cheap quote is my store with the expensive parts removed - ready to be billed back to you before launch. My 50,000 BDT is the whole working thing in one number that does not move.

What exactly makes the price jump from 50,000 to 90,000 or 1,50,000 BDT?

Named work, not padding. The 50,000 BDT tier suits a focused catalogue - roughly under fifty products, simple or no variants, COD and bKash. You move to 90,000 BDT when you carry real size-and-colour variants, more products, or want cleaner reporting. 1,50,000 BDT is for wholesale or dealer pricing tiers, courier API so orders auto-push to Pathao or Steadfast instead of a daily CSV, and automated SMS or abandoned-cart recovery. On our first call I tell you which tier your business actually needs - I would rather quote the right number than sell you a tier you will outgrow or never use.

How does the 50% advance and 50% on launch work, and is the price locked?

You approve an itemised quote first, then pay 50% to begin. I design, you sign off on the look - that is the design-approval guarantee, no store code is written until you approve - then I build, wire payments, set the order flow and test on real phones. You see the working store and test it yourself before the final 50% on launch. The price is locked at the advance: it does not climb unless you add scope. The CDA Avenue problem - new lines appearing before launch - cannot happen here because the quote that started the job is the quote that finishes it.

Does the price include bKash and Nagad, or is that extra like the other quotes?

Included, at the floor. Every store I launch supports bKash and Nagad from day one - through personal-number instructions at checkout with manual SMS order confirmation - alongside cash-on-delivery, and that is inside the 50,000 BDT, not a line I add later. This is the single item that most cheap Chittagong quotes leave out to look smaller, then invoice once the homepage is done. If you have a registered company and qualify for the bKash or Nagad merchant gateway, I wire the API in when your paperwork clears, without changing the price we agreed.

I'm in Chittagong - does the price change if you work remotely, and do we need to meet?

The price is the same whether you are in GEC, Khatunganj, Patenga or out in the district - location does not change the quote. I work remotely across Bangladesh; we scope your store over a call and WhatsApp, you send products and photos, and you approve the design before I build. There is no office visit baked into the cost and no extra charge for being outside Dhaka. You get the same itemised 50,000 BDT floor, the same senior operator on the keyboard, and a store built to ship from Chattogram to buyers anywhere in the country.
