You message a Bashundhara agency about a 'mobile app like Foodpanda'. They quote 12,00,000 BDT and a 4-month timeline. You ask a Fiverr seller for the same thing, and the price drops to 25,000 BDT with a 10-day timeline. Both quotes are real, and both are useless, because nobody told you what they're building. The mobile app development price in Dhaka has no honest answer until someone defines what 'app' means for your business.
One of those quotes is a real Flutter app on the Play Store. The other is a WordPress site stuffed inside a free Cordova wrapper. Google will flag it within a week.

From 3,00,000 BDT for anything outside the standard playbook. Think complex logic, third-party links like the Pathao API, Bangla and English versions, or a heavy backend. I scope these before quoting.

Every Dhaka founder I've worked with has at least one horror story about 'extra charge' invoices mid-project. My quote is the final number unless you add features in writing.
Most clients think the number of screens decides the price of a mobile app. It doesn't. Four things really move the number in Bangladesh. The first is how many user roles you need. A single-customer app is cheap. A marketplace with customers, vendors and delivery staff is not. The second is which payment gateways you add. bKash and Nagad each need their own merchant account, KYC paperwork and sandbox testing. That's real engineering hours, not a tickbox.
The third is whether the app must work offline on a 2G connection in a Mirpur basement. PWAs can, and cheap web wrappers can't. The fourth is whether you need a Bangla admin panel for staff who don't read English. A 50,000 BDT PWA and a 1,50,000 BDT custom web app can have the same number of screens. The price gap hides in those four choices.
The other honest factor is who you're hiring. A 25,000 BDT quote from a Facebook page seller usually means a WordPress theme wrapped in a free converter. Google removed thousands of those apps from the Play Store in 2024, and yours will be next. A 12,00,000 BDT quote from a big Gulshan agency pays for a lot of people. It covers their account manager, their project manager, their three junior developers and their office rent in Gulshan-2.

Because you're hiring me, one senior person. You're not paying for a 12-person org chart and an office in Gulshan-2. bKash, Nagad and SSLCOMMERZ each need a registered merchant account. Each one also needs KYC checks with your trade licence and TIN, plus a sandbox testing phase. The live login handover takes one to three weeks. Each gateway is roughly 8,000 to 15,000 BDT of real engineering and coordination work. If you only need one, the price comes down. If you want all three plus card payments, it goes up.
