Walk through any market in Dhaka or Chattogram and you will see a pattern. Two pharmacies sit side by side, both with a green-and-white logo built around the same Caduceus icon. Three restaurants share one lane, each with a near-identical script font and a fork-and-knife mark. This happens because most logo design work in BD is template flipping at 3,000 to 5,000 BDT. Here is what I see almost every week. A founder spends 12 lakh on stock and 4 lakh on a shop fit-out. They hire staff and print leaflets. Then they pay 4,000 BDT for a logo from a Fiverr-style seller. The seller delivers a PSD with a generic icon, three colour versions and no source file.
Six months later, they want the logo on a 6-foot sign-board, and the file is too small. They ask for a Pantone code for printing, and there is none. They use the mark as a round profile picture, and the wordmark gets cropped off. So they pay another designer to 'fix' it. Then another. The brand slowly drifts. By year two, no two pieces of marketing look like they come from the same company.
A proper logo costs more upfront because it is built to outlast all of that. The mark works in pure black and in white on dark. It works at 16 pixels as a mobile favicon and on a 10-foot outdoor sign in direct Dhaka sunlight. It works on the side of a delivery rickshaw and inside a bKash payment receipt. The colours come in hex, CMYK and Pantone, so your printer in Bongshal does not invent his own version.
The fonts are licensed and named. Clear-space and minimum-size rules stop your team from squashing the mark into a corner of a Facebook post. That is what 50,000 BDT actually buys you. It is also why I refuse to compete with the 4,000 BDT market.

A focused logo at the 50,000 BDT tier usually takes about 2 to 3 weeks. The clock starts once the advance and brand brief are in. Week one covers the brief, strategy and three first direction concepts. Week two refines the direction you choose. Week three covers final touches, file packaging and the guideline. If you have a launch deadline, I can speed it up. But I will not skip the concept stage, because that is what makes the logo truly yours.

Yes. Once the final payment clears, full copyright moves to you, with all source files (AI, SVG and layered originals). You can edit it, trademark it, license it, print it and sell merchandise with it. It is yours. I keep a copy for my portfolio, with your permission. But I never resell or reuse your mark for anyone else. This is a real worry in BD, because some template flippers re-skin one mark for ten clients. That is not how I work.
Yes, and sometimes that is the smarter spend. If your current logo has recognition you do not want to lose, my logo refresh work starts at 35,000 BDT. We keep the familiar bones: the shape, the colour memory and the basic concept. Then we fix what is hurting you. That can mean modern typography, sharper proportions, proper file versions and a guideline. If your logo is beyond saving, I will tell you honestly before you spend anything.
