Garments Website Development in Chittagong

Garments website development in Chittagong, built so foreign buyers actually take you seriously.

Most Chittagong garments factories lose buyer enquiries before the first reply because their site looks like a 2014 trading company template. I build proper factory websites — capability, compliance, machinery, MOQ and contact — coded clean and shipped in weeks, starting from 50,000 BDT.

Built by one senior developer, ~5 years on Bangladeshi business sites. 50% advance, 50% on launch. Design-approval guarantee.

About this service

What a buyer in Hamburg sees before they ever reply to you

A buyer in Hamburg, New York or Tokyo Googles your factory name the moment your sales lead lands in their inbox. If the first thing they see is a half-broken WordPress site with a 2018 photo of the cutting floor, a missing compliance page and a contact form that doesn't work on mobile, the email never gets answered. That is the actual reason a lot of Chattogram garments exporters lose RFQs they should have won — not pricing, not the sample, the website.

I build garments websites in Chittagong for that exact moment. The structure is boring on purpose: who you are, what you make (knit, woven, denim, sweater, kids, intimates, whatever your line is), monthly capacity in pieces, machine list, the buyers you already work with, your BSCI / Sedex / WRAP / GOTS / OEKO-TEX status, fire and building compliance after RSC inspections, and a clean RFQ form that lands in your merchandising team's inbox in a format they can actually use.

Everything is hand-coded — no bloated theme, no page builder slowing the site down on the buyer's office Wi-Fi. The factory walkthrough video sits behind a lazy-load so the page is still fast. Image galleries of styles and washes are compressed properly. The site is in English first because that is who is reading it, with a Bangla switch available if you want it for local press and HR.

I run this solo. You talk to me on WhatsApp, you approve the design before any heavy build happens, and you pay 50% to start and 50% when the site is live. Pricing starts at 50,000 BDT, and a proper exporter-grade site usually sits at the 90,000 BDT or 1,50,000 BDT tier. Full custom factory portals with buyer logins, order tracking and supplier docs start from 3,00,000 BDT.

What's included

What you actually get

Six things I build into every Chittagong garments site — because each one is the reason a factory either wins the enquiry or doesn't.

01

Capability deck page

A proper page laying out product types, monthly capacity in pieces, lead times and minimum order quantities. The same information your merchandising team puts in a buyer profile PDF, but indexable by Google and readable on a phone.

02

Compliance front-and-centre

A dedicated compliance section covering BSCI, Sedex SMETA, WRAP, GOTS, OEKO-TEX, Accord / RSC fire and building status, with certificate thumbnails. This is the page buyers and their auditors actually open before anything else.

03

Machinery and factory floor

Photographed properly — sewing lines, washing units, dyeing, finishing, packing — with model numbers and line counts. Not stock photos. Buyers know the difference.

04

RFQ form that works

A clean enquiry form asking for product, quantity, fabric, target FOB, ship-to country and delivery window — so your merchandiser opens the email and already has what they need to quote.

05

Fast on a buyer's phone

Buyers open your site from airports, trade shows, hotel rooms. The site loads in under three seconds on a flaky 4G, images are next-gen compressed, and the menu actually works on a thumb.

06

Ships in weeks, not quarters

Standard exporter site is delivered in roughly three to six weeks depending on how fast your content lands. Most Chittagong factories I work with already have a press kit — we just need to weaponise it properly.

In focus

Why Chittagong garments sites need to look different to Dhaka ones

Chattogram is the port. Buyers know that. When a sourcing manager in Inditex, H&M, Primark or Walmart sees a Chittagong address, they are already thinking about lead time from the gate to Chittagong Port, EPZ status, and which forwarders you use. A good Chittagong garments website leans into that — the address is prominent, the EPZ or non-EPZ status is clear, the distance to the port is mentioned, and forwarder relationships are named where they matter. A Dhaka factory site can sell on proximity to the airport for samples; a Chittagong one sells on container throughput, and the website should say so without making the buyer hunt.

The second thing that matters here: a lot of Chittagong factories are quietly large and visibly underbranded. You have lines doing 8 to 12 lakh pieces a month for tier-one brands and a website that looks like it was built by a cousin in 2017. That gap is the most expensive thing in your business right now, because every new buyer enquiry — the ones you are not already on the panel for — opens that website first. I build the site that closes the gap, in a tone that matches the actual scale of your factory, not the scale of your old WordPress template.

Frequently asked

Straight answers before we build.

Real questions Chittagong garments owners and merchandising heads ask me before we start.

Eta koto taka? What does a garments website in Chittagong actually cost?

Pricing starts at 50,000 BDT for a clean exporter brochure site — home, about, capability, compliance, gallery, contact. The 90,000 BDT tier adds proper machinery and factory walkthrough sections, a separate compliance documents page and a multi-step RFQ form. The 1,50,000 BDT tier covers a full exporter-grade build with buyer-focused style catalogues, multi-language and basic CMS so your merchandising team can update content. Custom factory portals with buyer logins, order tracking and document sharing start from 3,00,000 BDT. Payment is 50% advance, 50% on launch.

How long will the build take? We have a buyer audit coming up.

Standard exporter sites are usually three to six weeks from advance payment to launch, depending on how fast you can send me factory photos, the capability sheet, compliance certificates and your buyer list. If you have an audit deadline, tell me upfront — I have shipped urgent factory sites in two weeks before, working content in parallel with build. I will not promise that as standard, but I have done it.

We are in CEPZ / KEPZ. Does that change anything?

It actually helps. CEPZ and KEPZ status is a signal to buyers — bonded warehouse, duty-free imports, tighter compliance regime. We feature it on the front page and again on the about page, and we make sure your zone, plot number and exact factory address are crawlable so your gate location is easy to verify. Same for non-EPZ factories in Kalurghat, Fauzdarhat, Bayazid Bostami, Sitakunda — local context goes in cleanly.

Do we need Bangla content?

Honestly, mostly no. Your buyers do not read Bangla. The site should be English-first, written in the kind of clean industry English that a German or American sourcing manager reads without friction. A Bangla toggle is fine if you want it for local PR, HR recruitment posts, or visiting government delegations — I build it as a switch, not as the default.

Can buyers pay deposits or place orders through the site? Do you integrate bKash / Nagad?

For B2B garments, the answer is almost always no — you are not taking bKash payments from Inditex. The site is a credibility and enquiry funnel, not a checkout. What I do build is a serious RFQ pipeline: tagged enquiries, auto-replies in English, email forwarding to your merchandising inbox. If you also run a small domestic-buyer line or a sample-selling side, then yes, we can wire in bKash / Nagad on a separate section, but it is a separate decision.

Will our compliance certificates be safe on the website?

Yes. Certificates go on as image previews — BSCI, Sedex, WRAP, GOTS, OEKO-TEX, RSC — with the certificate number and valid-until date visible. Buyers need to see them to shortlist you. Full PDFs are usually shared through your audit portal, not the public site. If you want a gated documents page where a buyer fills a form to download the PDF set, I can build that too — it doubles as a lead capture.
