About the freelancer
The freelance app build is where Dhaka founders get burned worst. Here is why I work differently
A brochure website that goes wrong costs you a few weeks. An app that goes wrong costs you months. By the time you notice your marketplace freelancer has gone quiet, you have paid an advance. Half the screens sit on a stack nobody documented. The bKash setup was never finished. That is why the trust gap bites hardest when you search for a freelance app developer in Dhaka.
App projects run longer and touch real money flows. They also live on accounts you may not even control. I built this page for the founder who has been burned once, or who is scared of it happening the first time.
I am RH Fardin, a senior freelance app developer who works solo. I have about five years of building things for real Dhaka users. Those apps load on a mid-range Android phone on Robi data. They take a bKash payment without dropping the cart. They still work when the signal dies in a Bashundhara City lift.
My background is SEO and Google Ads before development. That sounds unrelated until you watch an app fail for a reason that has nothing to do with the code. Nobody thought about how a real Dhaka user moves from a Facebook ad to a finished checkout. I build mobile-first web apps and PWAs in React, Next.js and Tailwind. I wrap them with Capacitor when you truly need a Play Store icon.
Freelance, with me, means one accountable person. It is not a WhatsApp number that fronts for three subcontractors. The person you brief writes the login logic, sets up the payment gateway and pushes the live build. Your needs do not get lost in a sales-to-junior handover. There is no ticket queue when the gateway throws a 1009 error at midnight. I keep two or three active builds at a time on purpose. You cannot responsibly juggle ten apps at once.
The freelance route is safe because of how I price and hand over. Apps start at 50,000 BDT. Builds with logins, payments and several modules sit at 90,000 and 1,50,000 BDT. Custom hybrid apps start from 3,00,000 BDT. Payment is 50% advance and 50% on launch, in BDT. You sign off the design before I write a line of live code. If the design does not land, you do not pay for the build.
Most importantly, the GitHub repo, the hosting and the Play Store and App Store accounts all sit in your name. If you ever want to move to another developer, nothing is locked behind me. Most freelance app deals in Dhaka work the other way. Mine is set up like this on purpose.
