About the work
What a real Facebook marketing expert does that a 'boost boy' never will
In Dhaka, 'Facebook marketing expert' has been stretched until it means almost nothing. The cousin who runs your page is an expert. The 8,000-taka-a-month boy who boosts three posts a week is an expert. The Banani agency that sends a monthly screenshot of '5 lakh reach' is also, apparently, an expert. So a Gulshan or Dhanmondi owner searching for a Facebook marketing expert in Dhaka has a deeper question.
The question isn't who can run ads. It's who will be accountable for whether orders come in, and who knows the difference between boosting a post and running a conversion campaign. Those are not the same thing. That gap is most of why budgets get burned here.
Boosting a post chases likes and comments. That is cheap engagement that looks busy and sells nothing. A proper campaign in Ads Manager chases the action you care about: a WhatsApp message, a call, a form or a checkout. That needs a Meta Pixel and Conversions API set up right, so Facebook sees what happened after the click. It needs audiences built from your real buyers, plus lookalikes. And it needs creative tested against creative until something works.
One boosted photo and hope is not a plan. An 'expert' who can't explain CAPI, attribution windows or why your cost per result moved is just a person with access to your boost budget.
I do this work myself, start to finish. I study your numbers: koto taka per lead, which creative pulls, which audience converts. I also write the ad copy in Bangla and English, build the campaign structure and watch it daily. There is no senior name on the proposal with a fresh junior touching your money. On Google Meet or WhatsApp, we look at what you've spent and what came back. I'll tell you honestly whether Facebook is even your problem.
Sometimes the ads are fine, and the landing page or slow replies are killing the sale. I have about five years buying Meta ads for Dhaka businesses. That covers fashion and lifestyle brands, restaurants and cloud kitchens, local services and some B2B. I know where the money leaks. No Pixel, so Facebook optimises blind. One ad running for two months until it's worn out. A 'reach' obsession instead of cost per order. And ad spend reported as if it were the agency fee.
If your monthly ad budget is under 20,000 to 30,000 taka, a senior expert may not pay for itself yet. I'll tell you so. But when real budget is moving and it isn't converting, that is worth a 50,000 BDT engagement. The 50,000, 90,000 and 1,50,000 BDT ladder lets you start where you are. Then you scale the work as the spend and the stakes grow.
