Ecommerce Website Development in Gulshan

Ecommerce website development in Gulshan — built to sell, not to sit pretty on a slide deck.

I am RH Fardin, a solo website designer and developer based in Bangladesh. I build the full Gulshan ecommerce site myself — product pages, cart, checkout, bKash, Nagad, card payments, courier integration, admin dashboard. No junior handoffs, no agency layers, no excuses when something breaks at 11pm on Friday.

From 50,000 BDT. 50% advance, 50% on launch. Approval guarantee on design.

About the developer

I build the ecommerce site Gulshan brand owners actually wanted in the first place

Gulshan is a strange ecommerce market. You have boutiques on Road 11 selling 8,000-taka kurtis to women who will tap on Instagram, scroll your site for thirty seconds on a Samsung in the back of an Uber, and either checkout or vanish forever. You have showrooms near Gulshan 2 circle whose owners think a 'website' means a homepage with a hero image and an address. Most ecommerce sites built for this neighbourhood look like they were assembled from a Themeforest template by someone who has never watched a real Gulshan customer try to buy something on a phone. I have, and I build differently because of it.

I am RH Fardin, working as a solo website designer and developer for around five years now. I do every part of an ecommerce build myself — the layout, the product page logic, the bKash and Nagad integration, the Pathao or Steadfast courier hookup, the inventory dashboard your accounts person will actually log in to. There is no senior who pitches you and then disappears. The person who shows you the Figma is the person writing the checkout code at 2am.

I have built ecommerce websites for the kinds of businesses that operate around Gulshan, Banani and Baridhara — fashion labels, lifestyle brands, premium food, beauty, home goods. The patterns repeat: the buyer is mobile-first, comparison-heavy, suspicious of fly-by-night online shops, and very willing to abandon a cart over a 30-taka delivery surprise. Every decision in your store should answer one of those instincts.

If you are searching for ecommerce website development in Gulshan, you are usually one of two people. Either you already have a Facebook page running orders through DMs and you are drowning in screenshots of bKash confirmations. Or you have a physical Gulshan showroom and you have finally accepted that walk-ins alone will not pay the rent on Avenue Road. Both are good reasons to build. Neither is solved by a 15,000-taka 'cheap ecommerce package'.

What's included

What you actually get from an ecommerce build with me

Not a vague feature list. Specific things that decide whether a Gulshan shopper finishes checkout or closes the tab.

01

bKash, Nagad and cards

Live bKash and Nagad checkout integrated properly — not a phone number in the footer. Plus Visa, Mastercard and SSLCOMMERZ for buyers who prefer cards.

02

Pathao and Steadfast hooks

Order auto-pushes to your courier of choice with the buyer's Gulshan, Banani or Bashundhara address pre-formatted. No more copy-pasting from spreadsheets at midnight.

03

Phone-first product pages

Designed for one-thumb scrolling on a Samsung A-series, because that is the actual device most of your Gulshan customers will use. Photos, price, COD note, add-to-cart, all above the fold.

04

Owner-friendly admin

A dashboard you and your inventory person can use without calling me. Add products, change prices, mark orders dispatched, refund a bKash payment, all in plain English or Bangla labels.

05

Trust built into the layout

Visible refund policy, real Gulshan office address, working hotline, customer reviews and order tracking — the four things first-time online shoppers in Bangladesh look for before they will press 'place order'.

06

Speed that survives 4G

Compressed images, lazy loading, proper hosting. Your store opens in under three seconds on a mid-range phone in Gulshan-2 traffic, not just on your fibre at the office.

In focus

What ecommerce really costs to build properly in Gulshan, and what eats your budget

An ecommerce website is not a brochure site with an 'add to cart' button glued on. The cost in Gulshan stretches because of things buyers never see — bKash and Nagad merchant integration, courier API hookup, an inventory dashboard your team can actually run, transactional emails and SMS for order confirmations, refund flows, and the careful UX work that turns a curious scroll into a paid order. Every one of these has to be built and tested with real test orders, real test taka, real refund cycles. Skipping any of them is what makes most cheap ecommerce sites in Dhaka quietly fail in month three.

My ecommerce builds start at 50,000 BDT for a focused single-brand store with up to roughly twenty products, bKash or Nagad, and one courier integration. The 90,000 BDT tier covers a larger catalogue, full bKash plus Nagad plus card payments, multi-courier and a proper admin dashboard. At 1,50,000 BDT we add discount codes, abandoned-cart recovery, advanced filtering, multi-warehouse stock, and the kind of polish a Gulshan premium brand needs to sit alongside Daraz without looking like an afterthought.

Anything beyond that — custom backend logic, ERP sync, B2B portals, large catalogues — moves into custom territory from 3,00,000 BDT. Terms are simple: 50% advance to start, 50% on launch, and I will not move the design forward to development until you have signed off on it. That single rule kills the 'revision war' that drags most ecommerce projects in Dhaka past their launch date.

Frequently asked

Straight answers before we build.

Real questions Gulshan brand owners ask me before we start building.

Ecommerce website Gulshan-e koto taka porbe?

Starts at 50,000 BDT for a focused store with bKash or Nagad and around twenty products. A proper mid-tier Gulshan brand store — full bKash plus Nagad plus card, multi-courier, larger catalogue, owner dashboard — sits around 90,000 BDT. Premium and custom builds start at 1,50,000 and 3,00,000 BDT. Payment is 50% advance, 50% on launch.

Will you integrate bKash and Nagad as proper checkout, not just a number in the footer?

Yes. Live bKash and Nagad merchant checkout where the customer pays inside the order flow and the payment status pings back to the order automatically. SSLCOMMERZ is also added for Visa, Mastercard and AmEx if your Gulshan buyers prefer cards. No more manual screenshot verification.

Can the site auto-send orders to Pathao or Steadfast for Gulshan deliveries?

Yes — and that is one of the biggest time-savers I build in. Once an order is paid or marked COD, it pushes to your courier of choice with the address pre-formatted and a tracking number returned to the customer. You stop manually re-typing Gulshan, Banani and Bashundhara addresses into the courier dashboard.

I already sell on Facebook and Instagram. Why bother with a real website?

Because DM-based ordering caps out fast and costs you sales every night you sleep. A real store lets buyers checkout themselves at 1am, takes payment automatically, keeps an inventory record, and stops you losing 2-3 orders a day to slow replies. It also gives you a Google footprint for when people search your brand name from Gulshan.

How do you stop my Gulshan store loading slowly on mobile networks?

Every product image is compressed, served in modern formats and lazy-loaded. Hosting is configured for fast response times in Bangladesh, and the front-end is built without the bloated theme-and-plugin stacks that drag most Dhaka ecommerce sites to four or five second load times on 4G.

What happens after launch — do I have to call you every time I want to add a product?

No. The dashboard is yours and built so your inventory or accounts person can add products, change prices, mark orders dispatched, and refund a bKash payment without ever touching code. I am available for bug fixes, larger feature work, and monthly care plans, but daily product updates do not need me.
