About this expertise
What a real software expert does before quoting you in Dhaka
Almost every week, a business owner in Gulshan, Motijheel or Mirpur comes looking for a custom software development expert in Dhaka with the same story. "We already paid for a system. It half works. The developer stopped replying. Can you take it over?" That one story tells me more about the Dhaka custom software market than any brochure.
The problem is rarely that Bangladeshi developers cannot code. The people selling "custom software" in this city are usually not the people building it. So nobody owns the result when it breaks. By the time the work starts, your brief has passed through a salesperson, a coordinator and whichever junior was free that week.
Being a custom software development expert in Dhaka is not about knowing more frameworks than the next shop. It is about knowing which questions to ask before anyone writes a line of code. It also means being honest enough to talk you out of features you do not need.
When you send me a brief, I push on the things agencies skip. How many staff will use this daily? Will they use a phone or a desktop? Where does the money actually flow? Is the data sensitive? What breaks in your current process at 5pm on a busy day? Those answers decide whether you need a 90,000 BDT web app or a 5,00,000 BDT system. I will tell you the truth either way.
I am RH Fardin, a developer with about five years of building custom software, web apps and ecommerce systems for businesses across Bangladesh. I do not run a floor of desks in Banani. I take a small number of projects at a time and own each one personally.
That covers the requirements call, the database design, the screens, the launch and the late-night WhatsApp message when something needs attention. When you hire me, there is no account manager between you and the person whose hands are on your code.
Pricing is plain and quoted in BDT, not dollars. The smallest job, a single-purpose internal tool or admin panel, starts at 50,000 BDT. Mid-size web software lands in my 90,000 to 1,50,000 BDT range. A real custom system with several user roles, reporting, payment links and proper backups starts at 3,00,000 BDT and grows with scope.
You pay 50% in advance to begin and 50% on launch day, before the final version goes live. No surprise milestone fees and no forced maintenance retainer you never asked for.
