Why Chattogram owners hire me to rebuild, not repaint
An old website does not sit still — it loses you money every month it stays up
Here is the thing nobody tells a Chattogram business owner: a dated website is not neutral. It is not just "a bit old." Every week it is online, it is actively costing you. A buyer searches your showroom on CDA Avenue from their phone, your site takes nine seconds to load on a Robi connection, the menu spills off the edge of the screen, the bKash number is buried three taps down — and they leave. They did not call. They did not message. You never even knew they were there. That is the real problem with the old site, and it is why "redesign" in this city should never mean a fresh coat of paint on the same broken structure. It means finding where the leaks are and sealing them.
I am RH Fardin, a solo senior web designer and developer based in Bangladesh. For about five years I have rebuilt sites for the businesses Chattogram actually runs on — clinics and diagnostic centres in Khulshi, Panchlaish and Mehedibag, furniture and electronics showrooms along CDA Avenue and GEC, restaurants and cafes that live and die on a phone-sized menu, traders working out of Chawkbazar, Anderkilla and Reazuddin Bazar, service firms in Halishahar and Agrabad. I am not the biggest "best website redesign company in Chattogram" by headcount — I am one senior pair of hands that does the entire rebuild personally, which on a job like this is exactly what you want.
When you bring me an old site, the first thing I do is not open Figma — it is open your old site in Chrome DevTools, run it through PageSpeed on a throttled mobile connection, and read your last month of WhatsApp and Facebook enquiries to see what people actually keep asking. That tells me what the redesign has to fix. Then I do the work myself: the new structure, the design, the front-end code, the copy that answers the real questions, the on-page SEO, the URL mapping and 301 redirects that protect your Google rankings, and the launch. There is no salesman who wins the project and a junior you never meet who builds it. One thread, one senior operator, start to finish.
The pricing is fixed and I will say it plainly. Most redesigns land at 50,000 BDT for a focused rebuild of a small business site — new design, key pages rewritten, mobile fixed, speed sorted. 90,000 BDT covers a mid-size showroom, clinic or service firm with deeper content and a full copy rewrite. 1,50,000 BDT covers heavier corporate, multi-branch or bilingual rebuilds. Anything with bespoke functionality — online booking, a real menu-ordering system, member areas — starts from 3,00,000 BDT. Always 50% advance, 50% on launch, paid by bKash, Nagad or bank transfer, and you never release the balance until you have approved the full design in writing. That last line is the design-approval guarantee, and it is the part most Chattogram shops will not put on paper.
