The honest answer is that "best" is the wrong question. The right question is whether your store converts the traffic you are paying for. A beautifully designed store that does 0.4% conversion on Facebook traffic is worse than an ugly store doing 2.1%. So when a Bangladeshi merchant asks me to build the "best" Shopify store, I push back on the brief. I want to know what your average order value is, where your traffic comes from, what your courier cost looks like, and whether you actually need Shopify or whether WooCommerce on a 4,000 BDT/month VPS would do the same job for a fraction of the recurring cost.
Once Shopify is the right call, the build is ruthlessly practical. A clean default theme, customised where it pays. App count kept low because every app is a monthly USD bill and a load-time hit. Checkout tuned for COD-heavy buyers because that is still how a huge share of BD ecommerce moves. Product schema and Open Graph tags set up properly so Google and Facebook show your products correctly. A simple analytics setup so you can actually see what is happening, not a dashboard that overwhelms you. That is what "best" should mean for a Bangladeshi merchant in 2026, and that is what you get from me.

Shopify does not have native bKash/Nagad integration, so I configure them through a manual payment method with clear customer instructions, or through a third-party gateway like SSLCOMMERZ/AamarPay which routes bKash, Nagad, Rocket and card payments through one checkout. I will recommend which fits your volume and margin best before we build.
WooCommerce wins on cost (no monthly USD fee, full bKash/Nagad plugin ecosystem) and ownership. Shopify wins on stability, speed of build, and not having to babysit hosting. If you are running ads and need uptime to be a non-issue, Shopify is fine. If you are price-sensitive or want full control of the database, I will usually point you to WooCommerce. I build both, so my advice is honest, not biased.
By default I start from a clean, well-coded theme (often Dawn or a paid theme that earns its keep) and customise sections in Liquid where it pays off. Fully custom theme development from scratch is available from 3,00,000 BDT. For 99% of Bangladeshi merchants, the customised-theme route ships faster, costs less, and converts just as well.
