The senior operator behind the work
Why Chattogram keeps overpaying for marketing that does not move
Here is the pattern I see across Chattogram. A business doing real volume — an importer off Khatunganj, a showroom on CDA Avenue, a clinic in Khulshi, a clearing-and-forwarding firm near the port — decides it is time to take digital seriously.
They either hire a Dhaka agency that pitches over Zoom, assigns a junior, and never once understands that their buyer is a port-city trader, not a Gulshan shopper — or they walk into a two-room setup near the GEC circle that boosts a few Facebook posts, sends a screenshot of 'reach', and calls it marketing. Months later the boosted posts have lots of likes from random accounts and exactly zero new orders. That is the gap I built this practice to close.
I am RH Fardin, and I run this solo on purpose. Every Google Ads campaign, every SEO audit, every Facebook and Instagram ad set, every landing page — I touch it personally. There is no junior on your account, no account manager forwarding your emails, no 'the team will look into it'. When your cost-per-lead spikes or your Search Console flags something, you do not raise a ticket and wait three days. You message me on WhatsApp and I open the account. For a Chattogram owner used to being the lowest priority on a Dhaka agency's list, that alone changes the relationship.
Around five years in, I know what actually works for a Chattogram buyer, and it is not the Dhaka playbook copy-pasted south. It is ad copy that answers 'koto taka' in the first line because the port-city buyer asks price before anything else. It is landing pages that load on a mid-range Android with one bar in GEC or Agrabad traffic, not a heavy template that stalls for nine seconds while the customer taps back.
It is bKash and Nagad flows that do not break on an older phone, and Bangla-English creatives written the way a Chattogram trader actually talks — direct, price-first, no Dhaka polish that reads as out-of-town. That last-mile local fit is the whole difference between spend and return.
Best, to me, is also about saying no. I do not chase awards, I do not pitch six services I cannot personally deliver, and I will tell you in the first call if Google Ads is the wrong channel for your business or if your problem is really the website, not the ads. I take a small number of Chattogram clients on purpose — it is the only way one senior person stays this hands-on. If you want a logo on a 40-desk office, I am not it. If you want the person on the proposal call to be the same person logged into your Ads Manager at 11pm, that is exactly what this is.
