Affordable does not mean cheap-looking
Most Dhaka ecommerce quotes are either 15,000 BDT junk or 4-5 lakh overkill. There is a sensible middle.
Walk into a meeting with three different agencies in Gulshan or Banani for an ecommerce site and you will get three completely different stories: one will quote 12,000 BDT and hand you a broken Shopify trial, the next will quote 4,50,000 BDT with a 90-day timeline and a sales team you will keep paying every month, and the third will simply not return your message. For a small or mid-size seller in Dhaka, none of those options match the actual problem, which is that you need to start taking orders this quarter, not next year.
I am RH Fardin, a website designer and developer based in Bangladesh with around five years of full-time work behind me, and affordable ecommerce design is one of the most common requests I get from Dhaka founders. The pages on this site are written by me, every store I sell is designed by me, and every line of code that ships is reviewed by me. There is no project manager forwarding your messages, no junior who quietly rebuilds everything in the second week, and no white-label studio in another country doing the actual work.
My starting price for an ecommerce store in Dhaka is 50,000 BDT, and that is not a stripped trial version meant to upsell you later. It is a real, mobile-first store with a working catalog, bKash and Nagad payment instructions, cash-on-delivery, courier-friendly checkout, an admin panel you can update yourself, and SEO basics in place from day one. Most sellers in this range have 20-150 SKUs across a handful of categories, and that is exactly what the 50,000 BDT tier is built for.
If you genuinely need more, you scale up to the 90,000 BDT or 1,50,000 BDT tier, or to a custom build starting at 3,00,000 BDT. The point of this page is to be honest about what affordable looks like in Dhaka right now, and to make sure the store you launch this season is one you can grow on for the next three years, not one you have to throw away in six months.
